This humble café is often overlooked because it’s adjacent to Hacibaba, which is overrun with university students. Sehr-i has a nice terrace and plays Turkish music without the pretention its neighbors exhibit. Consequently the scene is more subdued. Apparently you can sit indoors but that part is on a(weird) subterranean level, like a basement. I’ve visited for breakfast /brunch as well as a casual tea /coffee. Service is attentive without hovering. The menu is fairly simple but has more options than I expected.
