This restaurant serves a great variety of turkish food — whatever I ate was delicious and well prepared. The service is fast, friendly, any extra wish if applicable is done. I can recommend the Kuzu Tandir — lamb cooked in a special clay oven — it’s so soft, that it melts in your mouth! As well the Döner I can recommend — it’s made in the traditional way with coal fire — so extra crispiness can be expected. If you have still room for the dessert try their sütlac — milkrice — it’s delicious.

I am suprised to see there was no ratings for this great restaurant. Mevlana restaurant named after the avenue it is located. They offer all sorts of common Turkish dishes at their best. You dont need a menu to choose, just dive in and pick any dish you like. And it is just great. I have eaten there many times, tried very common ordinary Turkish food and it was fantastic. I always order more than I usually eat, no food is left behind after all. They are open late night hours. You definitely need your Unilocal on to get directions. It is not on tourist route. If there is one downer; they dont serve alcohol. Good for big groups, families and all. They have open air section for smokers. Staff is nice and helpful. I am not sure if all speaks English. I think you wont need too much of translation with great food. I am sure they will be able to accomadate vegeterians as well unless you are not ok to sit by people enjoying their meat.
