We have been to Balkon to enjoy the view and a drink, but once we were there we decided to give the food menu a try.
We had 2 salads, they were pretty generous portions but they came without dressing…
The staff was very busy and not massively helpful but the view made us forget all the negative points :)
I would recommend Balkon for the experience!

Very legit place with an incredible view. It was super crowded so we couldn’t get the full «amazing view» experience but it was good all the same. One word of advice: skip going for the sunset. It is way too bright to enjoy! I suggest going after sunset, maybe around 8.30 or 9!
Prices are inflated but you kind of pay for the atmopshere!

I came with a big party and had a blast. The food was great and so was the service. There is a menu with lots to choose from. I really appreciated the fixed menus and ended up getting the menu 5 which is a main dish, salad, sigara boregi, and 3 glasses of a local beverage from the bar. I went with the chicken fajitas as my main and was not disappointed. The chicken was so tender! I liked the variety of fixed menus because it was a really good deal. The view is also stunning. I’d definitely come back!

I had a great time with a group of friends here. It is a lively atmosphere and the terrace is a great place to sit on a nice Istanbul day/evening. The food and drinks were not exceptional and there was nothing very impressionable to me which is why I gave it 3 stars. I will though continue to come back here for the atmosphere and good service.

Über den Dächern von Istanbul Cocktails trinken, was gibt’s schöneres? Hier ist gemütlich. Die Bedienung zuvorkommend. Die Cocktails sind teuer so um 10euro. Aber lecker

Diese Location ist etwas ganz besonderes. Würde ich öfter nach Istanbul kommen, würde ich diesen Tip einfach für mich behalten…
Was für eine Überraschung!
Mit einem sehr abenteuerlichen Lift geht es in den 6ten Stock und dann noch weiter zu Fuß nach oben.
Dort fanden wir eine rooftop openair Bar mit einem traumhaften Blick über ganz Istanbul. Diesen Blick denke ich gibt es nicht oft in der Stadt!
Also unbedingt danach suchen und einen sundowner oder später nach dem Essen einen Absacker nehmen und einfach nur den atemberaubenden Blick genießen!
