Part of the appeal is the location. We were here on our first night in Istanbul, gawking at the Blue Mosque lite up against the night sky. The café is directly across the road from the Mosque and provides a great view.
We had excellent service and our server responded to several questions we had about our first introduction to Turkish cuisine. I had the chicken kabobs which came with rice and a salad type side. Pretty standard Turkish menu items. The meat was grilled and well seasoned. Based on the tourist location I did not have high expectations but it was a good first meal.
During the day they also offer a take away counter with drinks, ice cream, sandwiches etc.
