The menu is boring(apart from 3 dishes) and very expensive, and while everything tastes ok, nothing is delicious. This is the sort of place the upper middle class Turkish go thinking its refined cuisine only proving how low the Turkish standards are. I had the most expensive and most bland tasting Cesar salad I had in my life, in fact so bland that I had to send it back to let them add a bit more sauce, and a couple more ingredients like nuts, peppers, and other stuff just to make it edible. It costs 28 lira with the grilled chicken topping and 33 for the shrimp one but don’t get your hopes up the salad comes with only 3 shrimps that also somehow manage to taste bland. You could have an infinitely better tasting scampi Italiano at dead&davids with 6 scrimps for half the price in Germany. The ginger lemonade which I’ve ordered to go with the salad also tasted nothing of ginger, so I suggest you save your money and go someplace else.

Rokoko :) the legendary taste of Dıvan Patisserie … When I was young I was dying for a slice of rococo at Divan patisserie. This time I was disappointed since its taste had been changed throughout the years or I am grown up and looking for more details in the taste of the food I am having. The rococo dessert has more cream in it, as far as I remember it was richer and more importantly the chocolate sauce was absolutely different with its taste and consistency. It was diluted and very sweet. Anyways, I know that I mustn’t rate the place according to the quality of rococo, my preferences of food has been changing by age. If I decided to eat something with thousands of calories(!) then the taste should be heavenly so that I mustn’t feel guilty and the food should deserve to be eaten by me :). I am not going to write anymore Divan reviews but I should say that Divan places I mean the patisseries, pubs and restaurants and even the hotels have the best quality in Turkey and they all deserve 5 stars… This time one star was cut because of the rococo.
