To be honest, this was the low of our Istanbul trip. This place is out of the way and hard to get to. Once there, you wait in a long line and pay to take the cable car up to the top. Once there, the view is awesome, but not worth the fee and wait. There’s one coffee shop on the mountain that sells you overpriced mediocre Turkish coffee. Avoid this place!

The view is the high point of this café. Easiest access is via the cable car. Drink menu is nothing fancy. The standard Turkish coffee and cay. Went in winter so not very crowded. Nice to warm up in the café on a cold snowy day. I can see this place being grossly overcrowded in the Summer. Many outside tables with great views. Can’t beat the view of the Golden Horn from this café.

My family and I visited here as part of a Bosphorus tour. The view was nice, but the area was overcrowded and unimpressive in its offerings. The cable car ride only lasted a minute, was crammed, the plastic windows on the cable cars were warped, and the view was nothing special from the cable car. It sounded like a good idea, but I definitely wouldn’t go back or recommend it.
