Falafel, tabouli, humus, foul are all delicious and flavorful. I have high expectations for this type of food and falafel house delivered! Tabouli was finely chopped with small amount of bulgar which is the traditional more tasty preparation method. Other places disappoint when the don’t chop finely and use too much bulgar. Falafel was crispy and tasty. Humus and foul had the right texture and flavor. Service as fast and friendly. Great for vegetarians and vegans.

The best falafel I’ve ever had! I usually avoid eating falafel because most I’ve had have been either tasteless or perfume tasting or hard. But these were delicious!

Really good place. We were staying at the shangri-la so this was a bit of a hike both in distance and level of restaurant but it was well worth it. Living in NYC, we are used to some great falafels, this place really lived up to the taste. It’s a small family run joint, and deserves every it the compliments. Good job guys, keep up the hard work. Would definitely go again.

We eat here a few times a month. If I let him my husband would eat here a few times a week! It’s a little place with both indoor and outdoor seating. A small basic menu, easy to order for non-turkish speakers, just point at one of the fixed menus! The falafel here is wonderful. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, light on the inside. The hummus is creamy and smooth with the right amount of tahini. They also have wonderful fava beans. My husband get’s a dish with ground beef and hummus and it is very good. I try not to eat a lot of red meat, but I always sneak a few bites of this dish. Super nice guys who work there as well. Easy to get to in Taksim as well.

Tasty, healthful offerings made with fresh ingredients and the falafel was crunchy and hot. What else can you ask for from this no nonsense, small restaurant off of Taksim Square? The soup was also flavorful and the sliced pickles and little hot peppers were a welcome addition of sodium and heat. I had the falafel, hummus and tabouleh plate(see uploaded pic, nice, right?) and was totally satisfied. Mostly tourists seemed to flock here, as the Istanbul guidebooks were out in force in several languages. My gaze wandered to the man methodically using his scooping tool to make perfect falafel and dropping them into the fryer, The man was a real pro. Good service to boot.

«Baby, let’s go get some breakfast» turns into a stop at Felafel House. His idea of breakfast varies from mine because of different cultures. So in we went. This place had less of a Turkish vibe, but I guess it’s kind of expected. Like many places we visited in Istanbul, it’s small and had maybe 7 tables inside. Service was fine and we ordered some lentil soup, an order of ful, and an order of felafel. The soup was the better of the lentil soups I’ve had. It was also on the cheaper side of the ones I had(3TL I think). The ful was pretty standard I guess. I’ve never had it before but I’ve had friends order it before in other places(in one case in Tampa, there was a complaint that it was terrible and used canned beans) and paid attention to what they normally complained about. I’m pretty sure it was homemade without canned beans and it was a solid dish. The felafel was fine. I’m not a huge fan of it, but I’ve had better in other places. All of it was served with a decent basket of pita.
