This is one of the better Sushi places in Istanbul. It’s located on the Asian side and inside the Kalamış/Fenerbahçe Liman(Marina). If you find living without sushi difficult, you can come here to remedy your suffering! ;) Not enough sauce on your Kara Age? Tell your waitress /waiter and they will do everything to make you happy. Service is friendly and prompt.

This place is definitely a good place for quality sushi, however the prices are quite high. If you order a menu set it is affordable but one serving of a single type of sushi is quite expensive. It is unlike many Asian restaurants in Turkey where you can find all sorts of Asian food. Hai Sushi has a selection of other foods yet it is not very large, so come here if everyone in your party wants to eat sushi.

Great value for price. Cool down-tempo trip-hop + Modern ambiance + Delicious sashimi = Instant cure for a hangover. Try the Chocolate Banana Tempuras as well. They’re so good I always end up ordering two.

This is a very cool little place because it has kaiten(!!) sushi, or sushi-go-round, as I often call it. That means you can collect sushi as it moves around on a conveyor belt at the bar and the waitstaff will calculate your bill based on how many plates you took(plate prices range from 7−14TL). It was so super fun that I could stay there for hours and eat sushi marathon style. The fact that they had ikura(salmon roe) was an awesome surprise, because I’ve never seen a sushi bar selling that in Istanbul. They also have green tea ice cream on the menu, and it’s been ages since I had that as well. That gave the whole place a sense of authenticity I rarely get in Istanbul. Like all sushi bars in Istanbul, though, it never really seems to breach the standard of quality I’m hoping for. Aaaand there’s the price. I went with a friend and although we knew it would be pricey, I don’t think either of us were prepared for a bill of 280TL. We did enjoy two small bottled beers(I think they were 15/16tl each). YIKES! Next time I might skip the kaiten(except for one or two of my favorites) and just order off the menu. It will still be expensive, though! As long as you’re willing to spend that amount of money though I think you’ll have a really nice time here. As a side note(unrelated to the restaurant’s score), the place is not easy to find. It’s kind of behind the Divan hotel in the area, in a port called Kalamis. Hopefully that helps. We got really lost using two different GPS and asking for directions along the way.
