Very impressive Doner place. Never Have seen a Doner this massive. Great Flavors. Their Usta, that is expert mans the shop with great pride and it shows. I think there are two of these in Unilocal.Know that they are the same place. Either way, it’s really good, you can’t go wrong. It’s worth the trek, tell your cab driver to take you to the maritime museum and walk up from there.

Delicious doner! Friendly service! Small tiny place but the service is very good! The waiters go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great prices too. There was a line out the door and everything everyone was eating looked delicious. You can get doner on pide, durum(thin flour wrap) or inside a roll. My husband is turkish and he said it was awesome. I only know American doner and it was ok but it was good in that it is not greasy or heavy.

Amazing kabob and nice owners. Unique and local vibe without the pithiness of the tourist oriented spots around town.

I spied this place when I was having breakfast across the way at Pando Kaymak earlier today. I saw this lovely meat rotisserie, and an older man skillfully slicing it. I knew I’d have to come back! So, yes, I sauntered over a few hours later to obtain lunch. I stood in line about 10 people deep for about 10 minutes — totally worth it. You have your choice of, from what I could tell, a thick, crusty half-baguette, a wrap, and a fluffy pita(which I chose). They slice a portion of the meet, put it in the toasty bread and then add some vegetables, such as pickles and tomatoes. I also got ayran(a savory yogurt drink), and the grand total was 8.50TL(about $ 4US). They don’t speak much English, but we were all compatible with the international language of love for food. YUM!!!

No doubt that they make such delicious doner but the place is quite small which leads to minutes of line outside especially at the weekends. And of course I expectantly waited almost half an hour to get my donner sandwich with ayran. I can’t seem to know whether or not i would do that again. If you’ve got plenty of time for some nice doner, check out this place. It’s conveniently located in Carsi, Besiktas.

A coworker told me about this place. As a tourist/foreigner, I thought it might be «one of those places they tell you to go». I checked it out anyways and found a really pleasant area to hang out around and a great food experience. There is almost no actual seating besides some stools outside what is a hole in the wall, and it suits the spirit of the Pide very well – it’s Turkish fast food About the Pide – for those of you who do not know, it is a sort of sandwich filled with salad items and most of all, properly grilled shaved meat from a rotisserie. It should be noted that Karadeniz Pide has absolutely the best, most rotisserie meat. So much fun and so cheap!
