Truth be told, I have no idea what this place was before I went. Actually I had no idea where it was either. Thank god I found it, because wow I was in for a treat! I was lucky enough to be invited to their monthly jam sessions. The vibe was great. Open Mic, which can potentially be a disaster, was awesome. A very laid back atmosphere. Good music. Good people. Sarayi, I am telling you now, is going to be the new Williamsburg, Brooklyn of Istanbul. Gentrification here the hipsters come!
This place is a must see. Oh and most of the songs being in English was pretty cool also!
