Since our Hotel was nearby we stayed often in Mesale for some tea and Salep. It´s more a touristic area but in this place was actually a good mix of turkish and international people. The staff is fast and friendly. 96 cents (€) for a cay tea is definately nice. Also the live music everyday is spreading a good mood. With all the heaters ist a nice place even in december. A lot of cats are running around, for me as an animal friendly person no problem. The food may not be upper class, but the Gözleme where a nice snack.

Long Beach, CA

Come here for hookah, but that’s about it. They have live music and the location is actually an outside restaurant under a tent. During the cold days when it snowed, even the heaters didn’t keep this area warm. The food isn’t particularly good. If you want after dinner entertainment and a water pipe, it’s a cool place to hang. I’d suggest during the summer/warmer months.

Ein ganz normales türkisches Café mit Lifemusik und Tänzern.
Man kann hier auch etwas essen, wir waren aber nur auf einen Tee hier. Insofern kann ich die Qualität der Speisen nicht beurteilen, es wird aber wohl nicht besser sein, als Imbiss-Standard.
Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und schnell, hier kann man nicht meckern.
Die Preise waren in Ordnung. Vielleicht kommen wir morgen nochmal hierher, um eine Shisha zu rauchen

Our hotel was very close by and we were hungry, and this was our first proper meal in Turkey.
We ordered a kebab platter and due to some communication issues, we ended up getting two platters instead of one. There was a LOT of food. One such platter would be more than enough for two people.
Service wasn’t fantastic, and we didn’t know it yet, but the food was unremarkable. Higher priced than places with better offerings. Kind of a tourist trap, really. There’s a lot of space, but if you’re trying to avoid the hookah smoke, you’d have a difficult time finding a good table.
There are way better places, try to find them.
