Hilton Izmir

I stayed here last week on business.
It’s a clean modern well-​located hotel right in the center of the city.
My room was quite large and clean. Bathroom was also large and clean.
There was an overpriced minibar that I would avoid.
The staff was helpful and spoke fluent English.
There’s an indoor pool and a restaurant but I didn’t use either. The executive lounge on the 30^th floor is nice. The internet in my room was quite fast though I think a bit pricey.
There are many many restaurants and stores within walking distance of this hotel.
I think this place is expensive by Izmir standards but inexpensive by US standards. There are other nice hotels in the area that might also be worth checking out. But I would likely stay here again because I can’t really think of any reasons not to.

Although some Hilton hotels around the world have damaged their reputation by not being what they used to be, the Hilton in Izmir is still a HILTON!
I stayed here last month and it was nothing short of amazing. The room was of a very high standard with a mini bar, big comfortable bed, I had a sea view and liked the fact that there was a coffee making facility in the room. What I loved the most, other than the location, was the breakfast. Just awesome! The only thing that I didn’t like was that they have the audacity to charge guests, make that customers, quite a bit for internet connection, even in the lobby. I find it very sad and pathetic that they do this. This is why they did not achieve 5 stars in my rating.
It is expensive but search around and you can find a good deal — I did!

what you would expect from Hilton. Good standard & centrally located. A good choice if you want to be central. I drove here & they have a car park but the driving is not for the faint hearted!
The photo I uploaded is the view from my room on the 13^th floor out over the city to the bay beyond. The sea front is 5 minutes walk from the hotel & there are some lively restaurants there.
There is a panoramic bar on the 31^st floor of the hotel which is good for a night capor three.

Well-​located close to the harbor promenade. At 110m the tallest building in Izmir. The lobby area is very modern, with comfortable seating and TV at the bar. My room on the 25^th floor facing north had an excellent view of the harbor and mountains. It had two double beds, flatscreen TV, desk, plus 2 chairs and table by the large window. The bathroom was smaller than expected, and could use some updating. Breakfast in the large dining area on the 9^th floor was excellent, with a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, fruits, bread, rolls and cereals. Eggs can be made to order. Additionally there is a restaurant on the top floor.

Sehr gutes Hotel im Zentrum von Izmir. Das Gebäude überragt alle anderen Gebäude der Stadt. Wer mit dem Flugzeug nach Izmir reist, sieht den Wolkenkratzer schon im Landeanflug. Ich habe in einem der obersten Stockwerke geschlafen — das ist natürlich ein Erlebnis. Auch empfehlenswert: Der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna die Außenfenster hat — und das in Stockwerk 32 ! Das Frühstück ist sensationell gut ! Ansonsten ist alles etwas renovierungsbedürftig — aber nach türkischem Standard schon ein sehr hochwertiges Hotel.
