Great B&B. Run by a great older couple. In the heart of historic Abingdon. Located in a 1905 Victorian, the inside of the house takes you back to another time. The house has been owned by the same family for decades, and their care of it shows. The bathrooms are small, but when you consider the rooms were never intended to have them, they did well. There are only 4 rooms, so there’s never a crowd. The breakfast was wonderful. Lighter fare, in 2 courses. The first fresh fruit, with a Swedish cream or a fresh lime sorbet. The second was an egg soufflé with fresh vegetables one day, with rolls and apple butter bread. The second, a bread pudding with great sides. Their rates are very comparable to other B&B’s and hotels in the area.
