I have been here twice before a show. The service is somewhat slow, so be sure to allow ample time. The food is light fare — I had the chicken salad croissant, and it is delicious. The side salad that comes with it is drenched in balsamic vinaigrette, but otherwise tasty. If you have a picky child or one with a peanut allergy this may not be the place for you. My daughter had the tomato basil soup both times and enjoyed it, but had no interest in the children’s menu.

We stopped at the Café after a show at the Barter. A plus is that it is open on Sunday evening, which most restaurants near the Barter are closed on Sunday evenings. The hours stay open later for shows. It is connected to stage 2. We used our 10% off from seeing a show and had a free dessert coupon from traveling the furthest distance. The pumpkin cheesecake was very good, club, rueben, and chicken salad. Great place for light food, coffee, reasonable prices, friendly service and atmosphere!
