Got a tattoo here about a year ago, as soon as I stepped foot in here I knew I should’ve left. This place is so unprofessional. I have many tattoos and know how to take care of them, this one I got here however is the worst. I tell everyone not to come here and will never be returning myself.

This was my first time getting a tattoo and I didn’t know what to expect. I went with my sister for our birthdays. She has been here before and highly recommended that we go here. We had Nick do both our tattoos and he was amazing. He is such a funny guy and he made me feel calm about getting my first tattoo. He showed me how everything works and he explained in great detail how to take care of my tattoo when I got home. Next time I am going to get a tattoo, I will definitely go back here and ask for Nick.

Not exactly sure why this place has been getting such bad reviews.. Maybe its because Nick hasn’t always been there?
I’m not a heavily tattoo’d girl. I have five but all in hidden places. So as you can imagine, I freak out if one thing is wrong on my body for the rest of my life.
My first tattoo (elsewhere) was a nightmare! The line work was terrible, and the artist kept on making sexual comments. I was 18 and it was my first experience, so as you can imagine i was VERY uncomfortable. Needless to say i never went back again.
I then gave another location a shot. Nick was my artist! I absolutely loved him and the work he did for me. I’ve gone back to him three different times. I’m itching for more, and will absolutely follow him to whatever shop he goes to. I’ve gotten multiple compliments on how fantastic the line work was on my multiple tattoos. Nick plays the music you request, and cracks jokes. He’s easy to talk to and does a terrific job.
Now what to get next…

Went to the abington location 2 years ago. Mike pierced my lip. He screwed up and did it vertically so the back was sticking straight up and you could see it with my mouth closed. I told him I wasn’t pleased. He said «ok we’ll just have to do it again.» So I was put through twice the pain. It was lower than I wanted. The ball fell out, so I went back the next day. He said he would have to charge me for a new piercing to fix it. I said fuck that and left.

I went to the Quincy location about 5 – 6 years ago to get a tattoo on my ankle. This was my first tattoo I ever got and so I expected that when you go into a «professional» tattoo place… you’ll be tattooed by a professional. Is that weird to think? Well… I got my tattoo… my best friend was w/​me and took a picture of me getting it done… I was told at the time that their system was down so they encouraged me to pay in cash… not thinking anything of it — I appreciated them warning me and paid them in cash. About a month later I came back because the tattoo wasn’t even colored in in some spots. When I went back in the manager did not have a record of me going there. I filled out paper work — they took a copy of my ID — nothing was there. They asked how I paid and I said cash b/​c of the computers being down — the owner told me the computers are never down. Well — after about 20 minutes of them trying to figure it out — me having the picture of myself getting tattooed in their chair… turns out the owner was away at the time and an apprentice had tattooed me. The apprentice was not allowed to tattoo customers. awesome! The owner offered me to try to fix it but still it did not look anything like the picture that I brought. Here I am 5 – 6 years later trying to have the tattoo laser removed off which cost a TON of money and a lot of pain and no help offered when I contacted the shop to tell them my plan. I should’ve sued at the time or they should have offered to help me remove it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO INTO THIS SHOP for the simple reason of them realizing the HUGE mistake by an employee and never offering to help w/​the removal process. Thanks a lot Skin Depp.

Friendly artists that seem to be talented. Got one tattoo here — artist was fun to be with and did a good job. I wanted to get another and possibly even more, but the guy kept telling me he’d call me back and never returned any messages.
I stopped calling and will never set foot in there again. I wish i got to experience it a little more, but judging by this experience, i would reccomend at least 5 shops first.
