This store has a little of everything. The bakery offers a good variety of sweets AND they just added PIZZZZZZZAAAA!!! It is delicious. $ 5.99 for a 14 inch one topping pizza. It is my new pizza spot. Totally beats the taste and price of the other pizza place in Acton. $ 14 for a medium pizza, pfft!!!

Love this little store! Everyone is always friendly and they are quick about the check out line. The store is clean, the coffee is great, and the people are fun. What more could you ask for?

A great little country local store for a sleepy little town on the outskirts of Lala-land! They have high-end yuppie stuff to suit your tastes and friendly customer service. The little meat market reasonably priced and just what we needed. The store lost a star on this review as the produce was a tad sad, and some wilty characters there. Not sure why stores keep sad produce out? Other than that, if you need to go to a store in Acton, GOTOTHISONE!

We have lived here for 25 years and shop here regularly when we don’t want to drive to the big markets in Palmdale or Santa Clarita. The store is always very clean, very well stocked and with no shortage of staff. There is a large variety of items, both gourmet and regular, and if you’re having an impromptu gathering, or don’t have time or the inclination to cook/prepare, they have everything you would want or need. The bakery and deli staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This is just the kind of neighborhood market you can expect in a small town. Don’t expect bargain basement prices, the stock is hand picked by the local owner, not some corporate giant in another state.

The customer service here is horrible. The younger employees are often loud and obnoxious and don’t take anything seriously. I was there today, and a middle aged woman was talking to some dirty looking individual airing out her buisness for all to hear meanwhile ignoring customers. I’m sorry but when i’m shopping i dont want someone right next to me at the checkout stand that smells and is hashing out personal affairs with the woman bagging and scanning my groceries. The prices are too high to have to put up with that behavior. The owner or manager was right there and let this woman discuss her personal business and ignore customers. Never going back

I always have fun in this store! So many different things you won’t find in big chain grocery stores. All the employees do an awesome job at making sure there are no out-of-date or spoiled food on the shelves. The meat is always fresh and cut daily. The bakery and kiosk is a perfect place to go to satisfy your sweet tooth! I always shop at Acton Market when I’m in town! Five stars all the way!

My Girlfriend’s family and us were camping at the local KOA campgrounds and needed some supplies for that night’s dinner. We had heard that if you drove down a bit you’d run into a small town with a market located inside. Driving into town and not really knowing where we were going, we came upon to local markets across the street from each other each almost the with same name. For whatever reason, we decided to give this one a try as we couldn’t see the name but the outside looked almost like a whole foods or a sprouts of some type and thought they’d have a larger selection. This market has a large selection and had the ingredients we needed. The store was clean and the staff were reasonably helpful. Here are my recommendations: 1) I am sure it is easy for the staff to recognize locals from non-locals, and with another market across the street, it is going to be great customer service that keeps them coming back. For non-locals and first time visitors, I would say go out of your way to ask if they need help. 2) The store is large, and although neat and clean, first time visitors find them selves walking in circles trying to find things. 3) This goes back to #1(Above), if you see first-time guests talking about things they are looking for take the initiative and ask if they need help. As we were walking around the produce section, we were trying to find something specific and two staff members crossed us twice without offering to help until we asked. In short, superior customer service is going to with customers. Give their jarred pickles a try they’re great!

Very nice small town market with some pleasantly unexpected up scale choices. They carry some organic product as well! Great Deli, although they could use a better or more healthy selection of side salads. Great Bakery — I don’t know where they order from but they got this one right too. SOMUCHBETTERTHANTHEOLD, DINGY, DIRTYACTONMARKET!!! Update though. They seem to have changed their bakery provider. Way too much frosting on everything! Also, in early November 2015 I was behind a woman who was there for the second day in a row to pick up a specially ordered birthday cake. She waited over 30 minutes(after calling in earlier that morning) only to be told her cake wasn’t there yet and no one had any idea if/when it would be.(They don’t bake on site) VERYSHODDYSERVICE by the bakery department during this exchange and I must say the customer was FAR more patient than I would have been. I overheard the two employee’s comment the bakery is the owners WIFE. I don’t understand how you can do business in this fashion. Very poor service indeed. My last visit there in December 2015 had a nice Pumpkin cheesecake(which wasn’t frosted to death as many of their cheesecakes are).

The Acton Market is a great place if you live in town or if you’re just passing through. The market has over ten different kinds of ice cream to choose from if you need a cold treat. Amazing milk shakes, frappuccinos, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and so much more. The espresso here is made right and you can request any kind of specialty coffee drink either hot, over ice, or blended. The coffee and ice cream kiosk also has delicious breakfast sandwiches. This market also has a deli that provides you with lunch sandwiches and they can be made cold or warm. This market uses Boars Head meat so you know it’s good! This market also has freshly baked cakes, cannolis, fruit tarts, strawberry short cakes, eclairs, cheesecakes, and more. The baked goods are made fresh every day by some very talented bakers. Lastly this market has all of your grocery needs at a decent price! This market just opened up June of 2013 and it’s super clean and organized. And the staff is personable and helpful. Come to the Acton Market Country Store you won’t be disappointed!!!
