I love this little store. We buy our meat exclusively from here as it is fresh and doesn’t have that frozen-y taste most of the other stores have. If you need, they cut up the meat freshly for you. The guys who work here are kind and helpful. They told me that because they were a smaller store, they didn’t order large quantities of meat, so that’s why it always tasted fresh. On weekends, they have barbacoa and carnitas. I am not crazy about their carnitas, but their barbacoa is my favorite of any place in the suburbs. It’s not as much as other places and they give you a decent amount of the caldo that comes with it. I also like that it has basic grocery necessities, so if you are in need of something, you can pick up there too. The cashiers are kind and courteous. It’s a great little store.
