Elegant Salon Suite

My sister referred me to her stylist, Kim. She had nice layers cut and so I wanted to get mine cut as well. I am always hesitant and nervous when trying a new stylist, but Kim was very friendly & flexible with her schedule. What was surprising was that Kim told me what look I should have instead of me telling her! I came in for layers, but was suggested to do highlights and root touch-​up (due to all my gray hair). At first, I was hesitant (Asian hair+highlights = not many stylists can pull the right color). She has been in the business for many years so trusted her. Plus, she has roots in California so figured she has a good sense of what’s «in style.» (I always ask how long they’ve been doing hair). I didn’t want to highlight my whole head so she did a bottom partial and colored the top of my head to avoid high contrast between my roots and highlights. In the end, it turned out nicely! I am glad she suggested what she did. There were a couple of bleached out spots but she was able to tone it down. She did not get upset when I told her to fix it. She was patient and always made sure I was happy with each step before she continued. I will definitely come back to see Kim for my future styling needs. If you don’t know what look you’re going for trust Kim to give you suggestions! If you don’t agree, speak up. She won’t get offended.

I have been going to this Salon for over a dozen years. The BEST nail tech in the world works here, her name is Sheri and she does my acrylics and pedi’s as if I were the queen of the world and she was the queens BFF. I think most of the nail techs (Including Sally another long timer here) are independents as are many hair stylists and nail techs. I found Sheri from her Sister, a friend for many moons also… One day I said «Nanc, where do you get your nails done, they are always beautiful», she says «my sister does ‘em for me to which I answer your sister does that job for you all the time???» «Yes silly, she’s a nail tech». Off I go to Addison, Beltline just off of Marsh (in a shopping center with Target, Kroger, Petsmart, etc. — located on the Southeast corner or block but fronting on Beltline)… I think she has become my BFF too, when I was ill she did so many nice things for me… She’s just the GREATEST and you should see my nails… zillions of people compliment me on my nails, all the time, I’d never go anywhere else! And it’s a schlep for me, I live in Irving… with my last gallons of gasoline I’d hobble over there because she’s just that wonderful… Lots of great operators here… message me and I’ll give you as much info as I know!
Lots of hair stylists also, and I have had my hair cut and styled there many times; just today as a matter of fact — today was haircut and nail day! They also have special colorists… a lady who does great eyebrows — they’ve got it all. Try my nail lady Sheri — you will never be disappointed! Once when she wasn’t available, her friend Sally said «don’t worry Gail, I’ll get you in»… what a team! What a bunch of sweethearts at this Salon… I just love going there and have made lots of nice acquaintances too.
