Huge selections of deserts. Many with fresh fruit. Ice cream selection is massive, delicious and very reasonably priced. Come here all the time.

This place has incredible variety that separates their flavors by water/fruit based and cream/milk based. They are very welcoming for first-timers and will allow some free tastes. Just ask what interests you, such as fruit or chocolate and colors and they can tell you what is popular or their preferences. Even going with the smaller sizes, you get a large portion. I also would recommend some of their corn or their chips with sauce and spices. Although it is a popular place in the summer, they are definitely open year round unlike other places. If you ever feel like ice cream but don’t know what flavor you want, come here to try something new!

Place was food in the beginning, but now it’s way too pricey and it’s not the greatest! Went from good to bad very quick.

Amazing ice cream place! I was greeted by a very friendly woman that helped me out even though I didn’t know what a lot of items were. She gave me a sample of all the many, many flavors I inquired about without me even asking, and coached me how to say the flavors in Spanish. Everything from the ice cream to treats are made fresh with fresh ingredients. I will have them to blame for ruining my spring weight goals.

This place is SOSOGOOD. And it’s at such a reasonable price for authentic frozen mexican treats. My favorite(and one that I recommend) is an Esquimale(aka Eskimo)-you can get it any flavor icecream and top it with what you like. I get the coconut then asked for it dipped in chocolate and covered in nuts. Also, they kept everything really clean(tables, floors, counters), everything was beautifully decorated, and there were plenty of tables and chairs at which to sit

So I’ve been here a few times over the last few months and enjoyed it. If there are concerns about speaking Spanish, you don;t need to. The younger girls behind the counter speak both English and Spanish. They have a number of fruit bars, ice creams and other Mexican delicacies available for purchase. There is ample seating and the place is super clean. Give it a try!

This is my new favorite ice cream parlor! The ice cream is wonderful and the variety of flavors blows my mind. Fresh fruit, nuts, dried fruit, preserves, and vegetables like cucumber and chiles are incorporated into their incredibly cream ice creams. I love the Ferraro Roche chocolate ice cream, but today tried a strawberries and cream that was fantastic. The staff is friendly and the store is spotless. Highly recommended!

My +1 and I had JUST eaten next door and were halfway in the car when he mentioned dessert. Sounded like a great idea! We were about to do a search on our handy Unilocal apps when we simultaneously spotted La Michoacana right behind us, the ice cream signs a glowing becon of neon. Confession: I am VERY uncultured as far as Latino cuisine(everything really), so was a bit out of my element, whereas my friend was reliving fond childhood memories. :) Their selection is massive — stacks of flavored popsicles towards the left, followed by fruit water and water and dairy-based ice creams. There was fruit for yogurts, so it was nice to see healthier options. Most flavors were NOT labeled. Luckily we were two of just a handful of patrons and had an opportunity to ask questions. So, um, once I spied Ferrero Rocher ice cream, there was no going back. The verdict? Delicious! He ordered a vanilla popsicle, which tasted like banana to me for some reason. Our total was less than $ 5. I’m glad my +1 is willing to explore with me since this suburban white girl probably wouldn’t have ventured in alone. :P Next time I’ll try the popsicles with Oreos inside — how neat!

No orginization at all. Last time i went i ask the guy for a strawberry paleta & he responds is it okay if i give you watermelon? I was like what? If i ask for straberry why would i want watermelon! Very disapointed & will NOT be comming back here!

From the time we found out about the place, we have been coming back here at least once a week. The most amazing part above all is we try something different every time we come. The place is very much like a Mexican ice-cream shop. Majority of items in the menu are in Spanish and majority of their clientele are Hispanics. Ice-cream is a pretty universal thing in my book. So, it’s a definite must try! The place has 20+ flavors of homemade ice-cream. What I love the most is they have tons of fruity flavors including tropical fruits with chunks of fruit in them. Flavors of their Popsicles are also very unique. Almost all of them have some surprises in them: pieces of fruits, nuts, and etc. One of our favorites are mangonadas, sherbet type ice cream with tangerine syrup and a little bit of chili, lime, and salt. I know it sounds a little strange but it is actually very well balanced something sweet with some something sour and something hot. They also have salty snacks like tacolocos, takiloco(mexican street snacks). I love experimenting them all! The place is a chain, couples of locations in the suburb. We went to two and haven’t disappointed with any of them yet. The place is bright & clean. I just can’t recommend it enough. Will go back again very soon.

Whhhhhhhhhy? Why me??? Why in the world is this place so close to where I live!!! This will be a huge problem for my thighs and waistline. I know. I lack self control when it matters most so it’s only natural that I literally wanted one of everything there. … Everything looked delicious and the prices were much cheaper than traditional ice cream parlors. If you are lactose intolerant, have a water based frozen treat. There are lots of those too. Want to try a few flavors? No problem! La Michoacana offers samples. I tried the strawberries and cream and the snickers ice cream. Opted for a scoop of Snickers. I tried my BF’s pistachio and it was very good. After we finished round one, we both tried ice cream bars: macoyana(spicy) and pine nut. … Four ice treats for under $ 10. This is a great addition to the area and the prices are very reasonable. We spent less than $ 10 for four treats. I may never visit a popsicle store in Michoacan(West Mexico), but I have a little taste of Michocan in my backyard. It goes without saying that I will definitely return.(After all, we need to support the city of Addison AND work our way down the list of flavors). … Maybe I’ll run into you there!
