Worst dealership experience I have ever had. This was for a used vehicle, that was only a few years old. I drove over an hour to get to this dealership, because they had the exact model/color that I was looking for. After I drove the vehicle and checked it out(few days before the purchase), I had told the salesperson exactly how much of a down payment I was making and that I was paying that DP with a credit/debit card. The balance would be a check from my credit union. They said«no problem» and told me to pay it all when I picked up the vehicle. When I got there on Saturday we filled out all the paperwork, and when I went to pay they advised that they have a limit on credit card payments and could not take my payment. If I had known this ahead of time I would have got a check for the full down payment. I explained that I had just drove over an hour to come back and buy this car but they were totally unwilling to work with me on this, and actually let me leave and not go through with the sale. Luckily my wife remembered that the Post office will give you cashiers checks from credit cards, and by luck they were open on Saturday. The only reason I went through with this sale is because I had been looking for quite some time for this exact model/color. This vehicle also came as «certified» which they sold me as a «$ 2,500 value». I drive very little(1 – 2 miles per day) and almost zero freeway driving). After a few months we went on a trip and I noticed at high speed that the brakes were warped, and the vehicle shook. This does not show up at low speeds. I had only put 700 miles on this vehicle and the brakes needed major repair. When I called and asked how this was missed in the certification process, I was told by the sales manager that«when this vehicle left their lot everything was fine; brake repairs like this are usually the fault of the driver» and that they would not help in this matter at all. Apparently 36,000 miles and the brakes were fine, and after 700 more the brakes warped to a point of needing to be replaced. The dealership by my house told me that the rotors were probably bad for several thousand miles and there was no way that they could have gotten to this point of warping within 700 miles. They also noted several other issues that should have been caught by the certification that Dave Knapp said they did. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership.
