Went in here today for the second time on the recommendation of a friend who shops there quite often. We stopped in briefly a few weeks ago, and there wasn’t much going on. As one reviewer wrote, you do need to catch it at the right time. However, when you do it is a goldmine. Everything goes quickly as the prices are beyond reasonable. I’m furnishing a big old house and need all the discounts I can get. They had an amazingly beautiful white top-of-the-line Drexel sofa for a steal. Unfortunately, as a foster mother, white isn’t my best choice. The owner is wonderful and is looking for the items I need and will call me when things come in. That is some fabulous personal service. I did score a lovely gold framed mirror for a bargain that I plan on painting a funky color and hanging in my hallway. It is totally worth the trip if you live nearby… but I’d prefer no one else goes there, LOL.

I don’t mean to deflate the stellar reviews this place has received in the past, but I’ve got to be honest– this place definitely didn’t blow me away. Location: strip mall in Agawam, with store front window and OK parking. Merchandise: very limited, from what I saw. The owner was very polite and knew that she didn’t have much to browse, explaining that she was planning on getting more merchandise soon. Everything was of good quality and clean, but there just really wasn’t much at all to look at. We drove to Agawam in hopes of browsing a few antiques/consignment/furniture stores, but the selection just wasn’t up to par. Like Max H’s review said, you’d really have to go once a week for a month or two to really get the«selection» you’d find at a larger antiques/consignment store. Hopefully, when/if I move to the area, I’ll be able to check-in to Once Around more frequently.

If you want to walk out of a place feeling like you stole something without breaking the law this is the place for you. We have gotten so many great finds from here. For dirt cheap prices. At first you’ll wonder whats the catch? How can this lady possibly make any money, she knows she can sell this for alot more right? She just doesn’t care about getting the best price she wants to change her inventory over quickly because she is constantly getting contacted for estate sales, local moving etc… when you’ve been in business for 30+ years you become the person everyone goes to. We have a hard time walking in there and not buying something, it also doesn’t help that Maria knows us by name and will give us well below the asking price. If you’re looking for a good piece of furniture check this place out, you may have to go once a week for a month or two to find a real standout but be patient she’s always getting new inventory. She can also put you on a list for pieces that you’re interested in and she’ll call you when a piece comes in that matches your needs. Bring cash or a check, preferably cash you have a little more bargaining power.

Clean, gently used furniture. The only place I buy used furniture from. They have a great selection of well made in the USA furniture. The prices are very reasonable.
