I have been shopping at Carol Solomon’s store for the past 5 + years and always leave there with the most beautiful, artistic and unique gifts, many of which I would love for myself. Carol is wonderful and it is such fun to enter her store and be amazed by all the beautiful items she carries. It is always a treat to shop there and I recommend her store for ANYONE seeking the beautiful and unique gifts any time of the year.

It takes a lot for me to get upset and I have rarely left reviews, however, my experience with Carol and this shop was SO BAD that I feel I should warn people.
Do NOT have these folks reframe, repair, clean or restore your fine art work.
I handed over three pieces which I never thought I would see again.
They had these valuable paintings of mine for close to 9 months!!!
Despite calls from me and stopping in, etc. I was ignored and messages were not returned. I was made empty promises to get the paintings to me over and over again.
It literally took me saying that I WAS GOING TO SUE THEM IF THEY DID NOT RETURN MY PROPERTY, before they finally got them back to me– uncompleted and expecting me to pay the remainder of their fee to them.
I should have never paid them the full amount, but I just was so relieved to actually get them back. After I got home and removed the bubble wrap they were enclosed in, I found that they had not finished backing one of the largest paintings that I had given to them to restore.
All in all it was a HORRIBLE experience!!! Save yourself a great deal of trouble and avoid this shop like the plague.

If you want to be bad mouthed the minute you walk out the door then this is the place for you!

Carol has a lovely store that includes an eclectic collection of artwork from various artists, beautiful hand-​crafted jewelry, and other various knick-​knacks that can be used as bright décor in someone’s house. My mom has been shopping here for years and receives nothing but great service and unique pieces of art. Definitely shop at Carol’s if you want something well-​made and unique.
