Jin’s Agoura Shell

About 15 cents cheaper than the other side of the freeway, likely because its just 500 feet farther from where people live on the north side of the 101.

Just a shell gas station right. Wrong ! It’s a shell gas station with a little mini mart, a above average car wash, and vacuums.
The employees that work here are extremely cool and friendly. They always seem to be in a good mood. Prices for gas are usually average but the one cool thing is Tuesday and Wednesday you can get car washes for half price .
The mini mart is filled with all the stuff the daily man or woman would want. The only thing it needs is cheaper prices on a few things but other than that it’s a good shell station

Convenient location right off the freeway. Drive thru car wash. Spacious station and the employees are always friendly and polite. Prices are slightly higher here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!
1. I rolled up to the car wash, not intending to get any gas. The card reader did not work, so I thought I’ll just get some gas and buy the car was there and get a discount on the gas at the same time. I filled up on gas. No receipt printed. No car was apparently went through the purchase.
2. Went inside to say no receipt had come out. Apparently it didn’t ring up the car wash either, so no discount on gas, and I still paid for the wash. The couldn’t-care-less employee, Rodolfo, printed a receipt with a car wash code and so I went to the car wash.
3. Went through the car wash. IT DOES NOT WASH THE HOOD TOP OR TRUNK OF THE CAR! It only washed the sides. And this was the supposedly premium wash.
4. I went inside to ask for a refund, to which Rodolfo mumbled about seeing the manager who is only there 9 – 5 M-​F. I told him how upset I was that he wasn’t even trying to help to which he said «That’s not my problem.» It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that when you run a business and you are supposedly serving customers, it ABSOLUTELY IS YOUR PROBLEM when something like this happens.
So, rest assured I will be taking my business anywhere else but here. You can also guarantee I will be calling the manager to explain how a completely rude and apathetic employee made no effort to rectify any of the many problems I experienced there. If he had made as much effort to help with any of the problems (1. broken card reader, 2. broken pump car wash purchase, or 3. poor car wash) as he did looking at his cell phone and trying to text or call with other people, I wouldn’t be on here ranting.
Avoid this place at all cost. There’s a Mobile across the street, and there is a great Shell at the Kanan exit.

Got gas at a decent price. Sounds like the car wash is a miss.

For the past 4 years I’ve been going to the Chevron station to fill up (which is often since I commute).
I’m in there at least twice a week. You’d think they’d recognize me by now since I also pick up coffee or lotto tickets but for the past 4-​years, it’s like they don’t even know me when I walk in with the exception of one gentleman who is not always there.
I decided to drive down the road, (less then 2 miles away) and fill up at the Shell station instead.
For the first time in 4 years, I finally felt that my business was appreciated.
We all have to fill up and we all have to pay for the gas; the price is competitive with the Chevron station so I’ve switched my fill up habits.
It’s just nice to be appreciated.

If you are going in, you will not be leaving the way you came in. This used to be my favorite fill up location but since they rebuilt the dividers (for what reason i do not know) it is impossible to make a left out of there. So if you came in from the freeway the only way out is to make a right onto agoura rd an then make a weird pull in on the right down the way and do a funky u turn to then make a left on reyes adobe!!! WHY!!! The other shell of kanan got F’d too since you can only get in from one way. Anyways, this shell is a peaceful location. But i no longer come here because of the inconvenience
