Premier Salons at Macy’s Pearlridge

Ugh my first review of the year is unfortunately a one star…
I went here because my usual stylist at another salon was booked for the day. They advertise that they take walk ins, but beware if you are a walk in, you do not get the full service.
I asked to have my hair layered since its been a while. I was asked if I wanted a shampoo (which I thought was standard at a salon). I asked if it cost more, and the lady said the haircut is the same price if you get your hair washed or not.
I got the fastest haircut ever in my life. My hair wasn’t even dried all the way and the stylist told me she didn’t have time to dry my hair and style it. Of course, when my hair finally dried after I got home, my cut was uneven. I was not happy.
I did get charged full price for the «haircut service».
Not coming back here.
Update: I spoke with the manager on the phone, and you need to specify if you want your hair styled and dried when you make an appointment. Huh? This was not mentioned when I called here in the first place. I’m still confused. $ 32 for a wet haircut? No thanks.

I just got my hair done by Brytton at the Pearl Ridge Macy’s hair salon. He was AMAZING. I came in with my hair at mid back length and wanted to cut it to mid chest length. I told him I wanted to cut my hair shorter, add layers, and get side bangs. He was so patient and caring for my hair. No stylist has ever given my hair that much attention, especially since by the time I decide to cut my hair it’s extremely long and thick. Basically, he gave me exactly the cut I was looking for. I definitely recommend him for anyone who needs a haircut. If you’re like me and can’t find a stylist patient enough to deal with long and thick hair, he’s the guy for you!

I went there for the first time today and it was great! And since I have an implant on my skull I thought it would be hard and my.hair.wouldn’t have turned out to be great but I was wrong. My hair is amazing and she did a great job (:
