So my experience is based off of the booth at the Pumpkin Patch in Kapolei. Ordered two items, really simple. Chocolate covered banana, $ 3 and regular french fries, $ 1.75. Instantly got the chocolate covered banana and it was very good! The french fries are another story. Waited 25 minutes and still no fries. I had to ask for a refund and it was like ahhh yeah, here you go. No big deal. Several customers had the same issue. I think they bit of more than they could chew trying to serve food. Sadly, it wasn’t very busy either. My tip for their business, quicker turn around and communicate. Not once was anything said. «Ten more minutes» «Almost done» «Sorry for the wait». Those all seem pretty simple. That was my last time purchasing from their booth.

I came across Uncle’s Organics a few months back while at the Aloha Stadium Swap meet. Being a HUGEFAN of all things Bananas I has to have me some Banana Bread! What is also great about Uncle’s is the fact that all the products are grown local… they are Organic, FRESH and you know what you are getting. Do you know what’s even better… Uncles has VEGANVERSIONS!!! AREYOUSERIOUS? Yes… I’m serious! For someone who is a Pescaterian/Vegetarian and leaning toward VEGAN this is a great option for those who don’t eat eggs or any animal products… Crazy thing the VEGANVERSION was just as tasty as the Organic… I could not tell the difference! Banana Bread isn’t the only thing they sell here… They also sell Mango Bread, Papaya or Mango Cheese Cake, Frozen chocolate dipped bananas with macadamia nut sprinkles, HUGE Chocolate dipped strawberries and Steamed corn on the cob dipped in organic salt free butter. ALLPRODUCTSAREEXCELLENT! So if you are looking for local grown products and food… Head over to Uncles and get yourself sum yummy good grindz!!! Tell Uncle Wayde of Wayde’s World Hawaii sent yeah… Uncle will hook yeah up real good… Uncle Mick is always there running the show :)

Redeemed my living social voucher at the Kapolei Farmer’s market today and got a few of their infamous banana bread and a chocolate dipped banana. They were very tasty. The people were friendly, too. So glad it was close to home.
