Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned Be Warned I wish i could give this Hotel 0 stars but that is just not an option. This place has homeless people outside with no lights so my wife has to walk in in the dark with my kids. Room was dirty bugs and mouse poo went to front to try and get money back so she could go to a nice hotel. Nice lady in the front had to call Paul to see if she could refund us He made her go check the room they came to tell us room is fine no refund. So I call this Paul to see if something could be done and he says no refund. then He tells me to just give them a bad review so that is what I’m doing. I hope you read this be for you have to deal with this thug Paul.

We had such a great time for such an awesome value! It is NOT the Ritz but for the price you are paying, the beds were firm and super comfy, the staff was friendly, and the room had a small fridge to accommodate the fruit I brought from home. Now that my sister and I found this place we will definitely be back when we come up here to visit my niece at Kent State University!

Stay away! you can do better. No room service two days in a row. All I want is coffee. Lots of noise in the hallways from 2:30 — 4:00 am; the manager — an angry, ill-tempered, uncompassionate man named Paul — offered me a whopping 10% for my trouble, even though it required two or three calls to the front desk during the 90 minutes or so of a half-dozen folks standing in the hallways talking in the middle of the night.

The sales agent made me feel as though I was bothering her while trying to rent a space for an event. She appeared to Always be too busy for my questions and was not very respectful. Her tone of voice was rather nasty during our last conversation. I will certainly let Anyone and Everyone I know Not to use that facility. She was definitely not committed to Excellance or seeing that the customer comes first. As a matter of fact she could benefit from more training on how to treat customers. Everyone has bad days. I was taught that you do not bring those issues/concerns to the job. Guess things happen for a reason. I found a better place, less expensive and much nicer individuals to work with.

Not worth staying here. Mattress = hard. Smell = stink. Staff = 2 out of 6 nice so far. Best thing about this place is the Waffle House next door. But let’s be honest it’s a Waffle House! It’s old. Doesn’t feel clean. And I don’t even know if they have elevators. Oh free wifi is nice

No A/C(or heat according to reviews on other sites) in corridors, no elevator, old TV, fridge and microwave not standard in rooms, rooms smell musty and are way overpriced… the only one small portion of the huge property being utilized for guests is furthest from the office, breakfast area, pool and Wi-Fi(poor reception)…only saving grace is close proximity of eateries and retail…

The Staff was no help at all. When we had no working heat in the room they told us nothing they can do. Will never use this hotels in my life time.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and we were very impressed. We checked in(without a reservation) a little after midnight. Despite the fact that there were a lot of events taking place in the Akron/Cleveland area, we were able to get a room. The front desk clerk was very personable and friendly. She even made my tired and cranky daughter smile(which is almost impossible after an 8 hour road trip). Because I’m a Choice hotels member, I didn’t have to check out until 2 pm(I can’t tell you how AWESOME this is!). Hotel guests get a free continental breakfast. My daughter and I ate to our heart’s content: cereal, eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, waffles(you make those yourself), fruit, juice, coffee, etc. Following breakfast, we went back to our room where my daughter enjoyed watching Nickelodeon on our plasma screen tv and I went back to sleep in our comfortable queen sized bed. Our room was very spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff were awesome as well. As we were walking down the hall to the dining room for breakfast, every single housekeeper we encountered smiled and greeted us(pleasantly & sincerely!). I’ve never met such a happy hotel housekeeping staff before. It was a nice change. The hotel had a decent sized parking lot, a nice pool(although we didn’t get to use it) and a computer and printer for hotel guests to use. There is wi-fi available in the rooms, and it worked just fine. Checking out was a breeze, and again, the front desk staff was awesome. I’ve only had one other hotel experience like this, so I was definitely impressed. If I ever go to Akron or Canton, Ohio, I will most definitely be staying in this hotel.

I spent ~$ 70 for a room here one night for two reasons: it was cheap and had a shuttle to the airport(CAK). You get what you pay for at this Quality Inn. Nothing is terribly high in quality, but the TV worked, the toilet flushed, and the bed was ok. Only ok. My back tensed up during the night so I’m not a terrible fan of their beds. They have a variety of menus in their guest book and I found a local pizza shop which delivered some food. The hotel seems to be undergoing renovations, so it should have nicer rooms in the future. I would probably stay here again.
