Please try to stick with me as I explain this roller coaster event that is this establishment. First of all, the name is wrong. Second, I’m not sure what dimension I walked into as I entered the doors. What the hell is American and Chinese Bar & Grill style food, you ask? Couldn’t tell you, but they had it here. This place looks as if it was a former strip club, turned bar, turned whatever it is now. «But Nick,» you say«why the weird intro for a 4 star rating?» I’m glad you asked! Though confused in this bizarre place, the server was friendly, the beer was cheap, and it was some damn good food! Go check it out. Guarantee it’s an experience for you! And don’t be too alarmed by the overwhelming smell of chlorine. It’s only overly overbearing in the bathroom and only burns your nostrils for the few moments you’re taking a leak.

First off, it has a new name… Paramount Pub & Grill American and Chinese restaurant. It’s really just a bar. The building was certainly not attractive; but it got the job done. Food was okay, definitely had better from a grill. Overall two stars.

My partner and I visited this place for the first time today with a Groupon in hand. For a weekend afternoon(around 4:30pm), it was not as empty as we had hoped it would be. There were two tables of diners and about 8 patrons sitting at the bar. For as long as we were there, I only saw two staff members serving everybody(and one of them was the manager). Our server came quickly to take our order and deliver our drinks. She was friendly and quite efficient. I ordered half dozen wings(garlic parmesan) and the pulled pork sandwich with a side of onion rings. Our food was served after about a 20 minute wait, which was acceptable. I enjoyed my sandwich and(the ciabatta bun was nicely toasted) and the wings were tasty, juicy and plump. The onion rings were previously frozen and could’ve used a little bit of seasoning but it was passable. The manager came over to our table to ask how our meal was and if we needed anything as we ate. However, toward the end of our visit, I could not seem to catch the attention of either staff members to ask for the bill. They had become increasingly busy and yet without additional help. The ambiance there was pleasant. There were several televisions along the wall, a lottery machine, and many types of beers on tap. There was pop music playing over the speakers and the televisions were tuned to sports channels. While I don’t drink alcohol, I would return to try another flavor of wings and other sandwiches on their menu.

The food was fantastic. I had the Cowboy burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. They also had a great selection of craft drafts. Two thumbs up!
