Tanoa did the sound and lighting at our wedding at Lawrence Hall of Science about a week ago. He was fabulous! Even though we had 200 guests in an awkwardly laid out outdoor space, everyone said that they could hear every word of our ceremony and every note of our music. The lighting was also perfect – he gave a lot of thought to making the outdoor space inviting as the sun set. The dance floor and dinner area were perfect, as well, both in sound and lighting. Tanoa is very unassuming and fun to work with – totally low key and absolutely competent. Thank you, Tanoa!

Tanoa is a dream to work with! He’s sweet, professional, reliable and totally self-​sufficienct. So, when I’m running around getting vendors set-​up for a big event, I never have to worry about Tanoa. He shows up on time, brings all his own equipment and sets up without me having to say a word. This is exactly the kind of DJ every event planner wants!
Plus, he spins vinyl exclusively, and can customize the jams for whatever your theme is. He’ll make announcements on behalf of the organizers (in a snazzy radio DJ voice), and doesn’t get annoyed when I ask to interrupt and make a speech. A DJ with maximum cool and minimum ego… score!
Apparently, he can produce an entire event with props, décor, lighting, etc. So, if you’re in need of full service event planning, talk to Tanoa before you get too far. He’s definitely a party pro!

Tanoa DJ’d my wedding on Sunday and I am still getting compliments from guests about the music. My husband and I love a variety of music styles from the 40 – 60’s and Tanoa played a perfect blend for listening and dancing — he really knows how to read a crowd. As good as it gets. I’m an awkward dancer, but love watching people get down at the A-​town events. These events are always stellar and they think of everything. The room is always decorated to the nines, yummy drinks, great people oh and did I mention the dancing?! Tanoa has the best taste in bands, burlesque and themes, fun photobooths and people get dressed up so there’s plenty of eye candy! You don’t want to miss these events, he’s breaking ground!

I go to AT LEAST one A-​Town event a week, and sometimes as many as 3 or 4. The bands are always awesome, and the crowd is always fun. No matter what kind of show it is, you’re sure to meet some cool kids, and hear some great jams. Tanoa DJ’d a party I held over the summer, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. He consulted with me in advance about the details, including venue logistics & music choices, and the end result exceed my expectations. He arrived early, was all set up with the right PA equipment, and spun the coolest tunes imaginable!
