We continued with Matt Duncan’s services when both our father and aunt(who’s trusts he had done) passed away. There were significant issues that came as a result of family battling, so having him continue on our behalf in this case was very helpful as he had insight. This was from 2013 — 2014. There apparently were problems when we began with his staff’s communication and the way appts. were booked. But part way through, he’d hired new people and changed the way things were run and it became much easier to communicate and access his services. Generally, I found him to be very thorough and honest and fair with his charges. He was not someone who’d beef up testimony for effect but would certainly uphold fairness so that we were not taken advantage of. This is a small community apparently of attorneys in this particular field to trusts and probate in Alameda county, and he’s known and respected by the court, which goes a long way to getting things done.
