I am just a guy who likes chicken. I have no(that is NO) connection with this industry, or with the local KFC, or whatever. But I pray that KFC never goes out of business. Their hot, juicy, fresh chicken simply cannot be matched. Add to that those biscuits(a big favorite) and a great choice of other sides, and be ready to violate your diet.

I would have given them a negative 5 stars if I can ! But I have no choice to give 1 star. The girl at the drive thru is so horrible. If she doesn’t like her job get a new job then. Second of all not only the mess up my order they forgot my chocolate chip! Such a horrible experience with them Never coming back!!!

I can’t really expect much from KFC, in my book they are 3rd in line in the fast food chicken race, and everything about this specific location shows exactly why that is. I came into this restaurant after peak hours when only one or two customers were dining and had to wait at least 3 – 5 minutes for someone to make their way to the register, so that I could place a simple order of 10 chicken wings and a large Diet Coke. I ordered my food, but as soon as it arrived I noticed that I was not given chicken wings, but instead was given colonel’s strips and a medium regular Coke. I proceeded to attempt to correct the employee’s mistake, but was immediately dealt a great deal of attitude and was told that I hadn’t originally ordered those items. After a few argumentative minutes, I finally gave up and asked for a manager to issue a refund, which they did, and I took my happy A** across the street to Jacks, where they don’t mind giving me what I want, which just so happened to be a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger, Yum:) D***, i’m a fat kid, oh well, just don’t go to this KFC; Boo!!!

Good location. Friendly employees. Pretty quick to order and receive food both indoors and in drive thru. My only complaints are that they don’t turn off the drive they menu to indicate they are closed. I’ve gotten thee at around 9:45pm and waited at the speaker for 10 min with no one saying there closed already. I’ve sat there and waited and even have had more cars line up behind me too.

Came in with a friend, and after ordering. I noticed that their service has greatly improved since they have hired new employees. Waiting for order is about 5 mins at most, not too bad for a fast food place.

I’ve only tried the drive-through service. Great service, good food(definitely better than some of other branches), very reasonable price. Just wondering if KFC will start delivery someday.

Guess what? This place has been cheating customers on family meals! I discovered this by going to the KFC in San Lorenzo and ordering a 8-pc meal. The San Lorenzo KFC gave me large sides. Whereas the Alameda KFC gives you smaller sides.

Several people have commented on the rudeness of the staff. My son and I went there this evening. Though the staff was normal, I do think that they may be having to inhale too much fuel exhaust from the vehicles in the drive thru. As soon we were in line, I covered my nose and told my son that I didn’t think we would be able to eat inside the restaurant. He agreed. The scent was strong. I wanted to ask the cashier how they stand the strong scent, but I thought I better not bring the miserable condition to her attention. Maybe she had grown accustomed to it. There seems to be no ventilation, so the exhaust stays in the building. It is an obvious health hazard. I rarely come to KFC. The chicken does something funky to my stomach. But today is my son’s birthday. I told him that we could have dinner ANYWHERE he wanted regardless the price. I couldn’t believe he chose KFC. Probably because we never go there. I wanted to honor my word and take him where he requested. After we got our«food», we went out to our vehicle and sat inside. We decided to eat a bit of it. Then to the right of the vehicle this man was pacing back and forth from the doorway to the curb smoking. I thought, how it seemed ironic since the fumes in the restaurant were just as toxic as the cigarette smoke if not more so. Then he made this hocking sound in his throat and hurled a quick loogey. Perfect timing as I was eating my mashed potatoes of similar consistency. :-PP Then a few moments later to the right of our vehicle, a mother with her toddler, rushes out the KFC door, propping her child on her hip, right there in front of the door, the toddler starts puking, over and over. I told my son, «Don’t look! Don’t look!» Why couldn’t she have taken him across the small parking lot to the bush area? But no, right there in front of the KFC door, almost in front of our vehicle. Then she takes him back inside, and a few minutes later she, the toddler and the husband take there KFC bag of goodies to their car. I told my son, «See the kind of people that come here! This place is gross and unhealthy!» I tried to recollect myself since it was his birthday after all, and focused on the tasty 11 herbs and spices. I had my son and I eat a carrot when we got home to somehow balance the experience. I do feel for the workers at this KFC. The exhaust smell was so strong this evening. Poor people have to work in that condition. ugh!

Biscuits, mashed potatoes, and gravy oh my! I’m a sucker for KFC biscuits with butter and honey. Drive-thru service is good because they’re friendly and fast. Even when I had chosen to go in to order take-out for last year’s Super Bowl(my annual tradition), they were pretty fast and on it. Good location and the parking is okay. Clean store and affordable, too.

This review is about the location and the service. We all know KFC’s specality is chicken. I like this KFC. It’s clean inside and the workers are friendly. And it’s also walking distance from my office so I don’t have to worry about the lack of parking in Alameda. Service here is fast and accurate. Keep up the good work!

KFC over all is just an awesome greasy fried food to indulge to satisfy your craving. I haven’t came to this KFC in a while, but glad I did. Service is excellent especially the young lady serving at the drive thru tonight. She even gave us an extra free cup of soda thank you, I hope it wasn’t maybe because you heard my husband complaining about the 1.5 liter soda being too small. But you made my night thanks! KFC you got a new regular!

If we could give a 0 star for this establishment, we definitely would. Today, June 22nd at about 130pm, my husband and I had the worse drive-through experience. The associate running the drive-through, Michelle, was short over the intercom, not polite, and seemed distracted. In addition, when we pulled up to the drive-through window, the same associate, Michelle, was blabbing to her colleagues how the car in front of us was upset because she did not get their order right. Venting is important and comforting, especially between colleagues. But what is unacceptable, is for another customer the clearly here that. To top it off, after we specifically requested a certain side, our order was wrong. And when I walked INTO the restaurant to complain and ask, I was addressed by a VERYRUDE(WITH A SARCASTICTONEANDSMILE) associate, named Alyssa, in addition to Michelle. For a local, who resides, works, and worships within the community, this is very bad business. Employees should be trained better… Why then should I not ask the communities we are involved with to not support this establishment. THISWASTHEWORSERESTAURANTORFASTFOODEXPERIENCEWE’VEEVERHAD. And we will make sure our friends, family, and community is aware of this poor business practice.

I mean what can i say about KFC that people already don’t know or what they already assume. Im just basing my review on the service and my experience. Here and there i like to eat greasy and deep fried food. I think we all do. And kfc kinda satisfies that fast food cravings. I had a pleasant experience with the girls working there. Super friendly and they kept it very clean. Easy parking too.

It’s Wednesday and it’s chicken pot pie day($ 2.99 instead of $ 3.99). I haven’t had a KFC chicken pot pie since 3 months ago(at the Eddy Street KFC in SF). Then it’s not all the time I eat fast food. Comparing this KFC to the one close to 27th& Telegraph in Oakland, this one is a whole lot cleaner and quieter. My chicken pot pie was A-OK, except there were two pieces of bone in it. Also it was not as spicy and tasty as the one from KFC on Eddy Street. Bottom line, the cashier was friendly and the service was fast… didn’t have to wait long to have lunch. That’s why it’s fast food… lol.

I haven’t had KFC in a while, and saw the sign after circling Park Street looking for parking for another restaurant to get some take out. The drive-thru was quickly, accurate, and friendly. When someone orders a meal type utensils should be an automatic add to the bag, just like the wet-wipes are with KFC Chicken. Two stars drop for getting home, and not finding butter for my potatoes, and no utensils or napkins.

Stay Away!!! I went here to pickup dinner with my wife and the person at the drive thru kept rushing to get me to order. I told her I need just a minute and there is nobody behind me anyway. She said it doesn’t matter we have a timer! Anyway, I talked to Abdoul the manager who completely took her side before hearing me out and accused me of making a scene just because I was trying to explain the situation to him while there were now a few cars behind me. There are plenty of better choices in Alameda, don’t spend your hard earned money here!

This place is a hit or miss. Somedays you’ll get yummy chicken but others, the chicken are not fresh, too over done and the service is terrible. Sometimes I ask for some request they would not budge to change just a little something. They even cough on your food, and I request it to change but they deny they did not cough nor hands were washed. A lot of times when it’s full of teenagers there, you’ll get bad service, they don’t care… just there for a paycheck.

KFC has a drive thru window. here. this means i have to be extra careful so the driver doesn’t absentindedly run me over when he/she is reaching for the drumstick while i’m walking thru the drive thru lane. typical menu, friendly, fast service eats: new item: «hot wings» 50 cents@(got email about this) –didn’t taste hot nor spicy –prepped the same way as their regular chicken: steamed, battered, then fried –pretty meaty. most flavor is in the batter. too heavily battered for my tastes. –easily 3.5 stars for kfc afficianados
