Nutrishop Alameda

First of all it was my first time visiting a Nutrishop, I read alot of good reviews on Unilocal and had a friend of mine recommended me to give it a try.
*quick review* Bjorn is the man with the plan, professionalism, knows his stuff definetly, he gave me a walk trough, a meal plan, even had me get on a weight scale to see where I’m at and things I needed to improve to reach my goals, I give it a 5 stars! really impressed, unlike GNC, they just throw supplements at you and more then half of the time they don’t know what their talking about.

Needed to re-​stock on pre-​workout powders, amino acids and after workout protein powder. The salesman helped me so much. I even got free samples of products I would potentially bring home… That made a big difference… He said if the sample isn’t what you are looking for, bring back the un-​opened container and we could refund them… That was cool of them… Luckily I enjoyed all my products. I even got a free water bottle and t-​shirt to bring to the gym!

Simple review: $ 2 Quest Bars.
Apparently that is not enough for Unilocal,so, um… guy seems friendly and gave me a free protein powder sample when I bought a bunch of $ 2 Quest Bars. And they were actually $ 1.99 plus tax but $ 2 is snappier. And though the lot is usually oddly full (have no idea where all these people are, they can’t ALL be in Taco Bell can they?), there is usually parking somewhere.

Friendly service, the representative offered me to try their multivitamin, tried it, bought it. Definetly coming back!

Stopped by the store on saturday after hearing great things about their approach to food first, supplements second. The Owner Bjorn took the time to look over how i ate now, how often i worked out and what my goals were. He then gave me a very simple meal planning guide and recommended some supplements that would help get me there. No hard sell and i felt like i left with more knowledge than when i came in. He is getting a bodyfat % machine in the next few weeks, so i will be back to try that out and stock up. This is not like those other national chains, this is the real deal.

Bjorn is the best. I’m very interested in nutrition and supplements so the store feels like a second home almost to me. I consistently go in and look at different supplements. My goals were to lose fat and Bjorn told me what would help and recommended the pro7ein synthesis product. I’m happy with the product and he’s thrown in freebies such as a bottle and a store t shirt. Definitely would recommend. You can tell Bjorn enjoys helping others instead of pushing you the most expensive product. There’s no pressure to buy any unnecessary products.

Nope! This store gets a full 5 from me talked about what my goals are, time line and got me all set up with zero pressure.

I’m so happy this store opened in Alameda. I usually buy my protein powder online but am always left feeling like it’s a shot in the dark. Bjorn, the owner, really knows his products and with a nutritional background can even set a meal plan for you. I left the store with a better understanding of what I needed to do for my body. When it comes to Nutrition Supplements, you can spend alot of money. Whey Protein, Creatine, Pre and Post Workout supplements plys fat burners. You have to have some knowledge on what you are buying. Fortunately the team at Nutrishop can answer most questions and have used the products to know what they are talking about.
I had a chance to talk to Sales manager Bjorn and I indicated that I looking for a certain protein that I could take everyday. He suggested I sample some of the products that Nutrishop offered. I could not sample any of the products because I had just had pizza and salad, it was a cheat day and I was taking full advantage of it. Bjorn provided some expert knowledge and advised me on a Cross Filtered Whey Protein that was low in carbs and fat. I thanked him for the recommendation and I’m going to recommend Nutrishop to my fellow work-​out partners.
A great addtion to the town of Alameda, CA. The cross rival GXX needs some competition. Nutrishop is located right off the Fruitvale bridge by the Nob Hill and Starbucks so it can’t be missed.

These guys are legit! I stopped in to pick up some pre workout and they gave me great advice and a couple free samples to try. I’ll definitely buy all my supplements there — plus they price match so you know you will get the best deal and the best service!

Visited the soft opening today and got a chance to meet the owner, Bjorn. Very nice fella and knowledgeable about the products. There is alot of variety at his store from vitamin supplements, protein shakes, and other awesome items. I told him I needed help staying awake at my job and was looking to loose some weight too. Bjorn sat down with me and we worked out a weekly meal plan. He then gave me a sample of his Nature“s Green and Nature’s Fruit. One scoop of each powder was enough to get my daily vegetables and fruits. Very cool. The taste was better than I thought too. Tasted very fruity almost like a Caprie Sun. As a result I ended up buy each bottle. Great service and owner was very nice (not pushy or forcing the items on you). Will swing through again. First month is 20% discount
