To start with I am a bit biased because I love me some crepes. So as long as they know how to do it the stars was going to be good. I couldn’t find anything to deduct as the crepes were very good crepes done right. The seating area is small but there is outdoor seating in back. Maybe a slightly larger menu would be cool but we order 4 separate items and 2 deserts and they were all excellent. We will be back!

We went in for mid afternoon crepes. Excellent spot and an extremely friendly group of people. We sat on the cool back patio and enjoyed 3 crepes. Nutella/Strawberry, Chicken/Pesto, Mediterranean. All really delicious… there is a slight sweetness in the batter that really shines in the savory crepes. Matthew… the owner… came to the table and chatted a bit. Good dude. Support this great local business!

I love crêpe and just found this place 2 weeks ago. It’s very nice small place with very friendly service. Love the pumpkin pie crêpe and I will try the ham & egg next week. Should come and try

Churro crêpe was outstanding. Coffee excellent(and I’m very critical about decaf). Definitely will be back when in the area. Good place to bring kids. And the back patio is really cool– made me feel like I was in Paris.

Came here for brunch with the family and had a great experience! The café itself is a bit small but they do have additional outdoor seating(with heat lamps apparently). We ordered a ham & cheese savory crêpe and a mixed fruit & nutella… and it was really good!!! I was especially impressed by the freshness of all the berries. The quantities were decent, with generous portions of filling in each crêpe. One problem I have with other crêpe places I’ve been to is that they try to do too much(ie. crepevine) and it just ends up tasting bad/too over-powering. I think West End Crêpe does a good job of incorporating simplicity with fresh ingredients. Bravo~!! In terms of service, I was also pleasantly impressed. It was our first visit to West End and I was not familiar with the menu, but the cashier patiently answered all my questions and gave her recommendations as well. We ended up having to wait a bit longer because there was a large party before us… but the bearded man(who I assume is the manager?) was very gracious, apologizing for the delay and even offering us a free dessert on the house! We did not end up taking him up on the offer since we were already full after our meal, but it was a very kind gesture :) He was also considerate of our toddler and checked up on us a couple of times. Great service & great food! Definitely be back again!

My new fav for coffee on Webster. Quick, friendly and the crepes are legit. Not as crowded as the others, and makes for a fun visit to the pinball museum down the street. The patio is a nice hideout out back.

Love this little gem of a spot on Webster! The new owners are doing some cool and creative crêpe interpretations. Today I had a bacon, lettuce, tomato & avocado crêpe with a creamy chipotle sauce that knocked me out! The fresh ingredients were already delicious, but the sauce totally took it up an notch! Each time I’ve come in, they’ve added something new and interesting to the menu. Curiosity about their next tasty concoction keeps me coming back for more. Plus, it’s a great place to hang out, especially on the back patio when the weather’s nice!

This place is great. I had been here before the new owners had come in several months ago, and they have made a massive improvement. It’s got a great environment to bring family, or if you’re like me and can’t work at home, they have awesome organic coffee and a great bottomless cup deal. The food: Everything I’ve tried so far I have enjoyed and would order and enjoy again. The reuben is the fanciest reuben I’ve had. The chocolate raspberry was, to put it mildly, emotionally satisfying. I recommend it on either the best/worst day of your week and your life will improve exponentially in moments. TL;DR Show up. Get crêpe. Leave happier.

The ham crêpe was amazing with a hint of mustard. I tried the green latte which was exquisite! The owners are lovely, and make you feel special. If you are craving crepes, come and support this small local business.

Very pleased with our decision to have breakfast there today. The new owners have taken classic meals from breakfast, lunch/dinner and desserts then filled crepes with them! Great selections, very creative and DELICIOUS. We tried the Ruben and Smoked Gouda, Pear & Arugula(w/bacon cuz bacon makes everything better). We highly recommend both. Good luck to the new crew! Be back soon.

We were heading over to SF and were going to stop at Alameda Pizza for a slice when we discovered they were not open. Lucky for us: West End Crêpe was open! We stopped in and caught them just as they were opening and we were all three very, very happy. I had the mushroom and swiss savory crêpe; my daughter had the strawberry crêpe; and our exchange student had the Nutella strawberry crêpe. The owners were highly attentive and directed us to the triple treat of flavored water, which was so, so, so tasty. Excellent food; superior customer service; friendly folks — exactly what Alameda needs! Do yourself a flavor and try one of their über-delicious crepes soon. You will NOT be disappointed! :)

Not so good, they forgot the major ingredient… flavor! Wanted for it seems like child labor to take my order, then I waited for my order for 20 mins and a cup of coffee(couldn’t have received that when I paid) then it was just bland. I ordered the #14 breakfast crêpe: eggs, bacon, cream cheese and a crêpe. All just bland, I ended up picked out my bacon for flavor and left the rest. :-(said kitty face on this one boys and girls.

We really needed a crêpe place here in Alameda, and I’m really glad West End Crêpe was the one to do it! After devouring many crepes in my lifetime, I give this place 2 thumbs up! People are friendly, and there are numerous crêpe options from savory to sweet :) I ordered a banana and nutella crêpe w/vanilla ice cream and it did not disappoint. They didn’t skimp out on any of the ingredients! I got pretty full although I shared it. For 2 crepes it came out to be a little over $ 11, which is pretty reasonable IMHO. I think the place is great; it has a café feeling, which has its downside of being a little cramped. If you ever happen to find yourself on this side of town, definitely give this place a try! With the warm welcomes and fresh crepes galore, I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

I saw this place when I was walking to the Farmer’s Market. I told my sister and she said asked if I wanted to go there. Upon entering, we were greeted and I noticed that the place was really cute and it smelled delicious. They have a pretty good selection of crêpes-savory, sweet, and breakfast. I ordered a Nutella and banana crêpe and my sister got a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast crêpe. Both were delicious! For two crêpes and two drinks, our total was around $ 17 which is not bad at all. They also have outdoor seating in the front and a really nice patio in the back. The girl who took our order was so nice. I’m glad this place opened.
