New place at old Thep Naree site. Not sure if the hilariously cheesy mural of topless Thai maidens in the jungle came with the place or if they went to the trouble of adding it. The food was quite good but the service was outrageously slow. There were only 2 other parties in the restaurant when we arrived and we probably waited at least 45 minutes for food. There was only server and she was literally running to try to keep up with everything– bussing tables, taking orders, serving food and drinks, answering the phone. One family with a baby got up and left before their food came because it was taking so long. They have some interesting dishes on the menu and I’d like to try the restaurant again but they really need to iron out some logistical/staffing kinks before we venture back.

Got food to go & it was a great hit with my family & guests! I highly recommend for take out(pineapple fried rice & yellow/green curries were right on). Hope to try out the unique seating there soon. Supporting local businesses made easy!

Friday is a tradition for us to try different restaurants and we just happened to run across Agaligo’s on our way to another Thai restaurant and noticed the grand opening sign so we tried it. First thing we noticed is how comfortable it was inside. Really nice ambiance and a lot of care went into the design. That’s always a good sign for a dining experience. For dinner we had the fried shrimp in tamarind sauce which was delicious. Small portions but that’s okay because we personally dine to enjoy the food not to over eat. Also had the green curry beef with roti bread and was surprised that it was spicy. There was no mention of that on the menu. The beef wasn’t tender like you would find in a well stewed beef. I didn’t really care for this dish that much and probably will not order it again. Should have tried the Mussamun beef instead. For dessert we shared the sticky rice and mango which is a traditional Thai dessert. The only other desserts were ice cream and ice cream with mangos. So dessert was safe and good as usual. I thought the cost was a little pricey, $ 50 for the both of us but I’m not ready to write this place off. Need to go back and try some other dishes. It’s a good place to take someone on a date if you don’t mind the cost.

It’s good, but the dishes are a little bit small and it costs us $ 50 for two.(Without appetizer and dessert.) The Agaligo crispy duck is really good. Pak kee maw is also good and spicy. Panang beef is OK…(it is ilke the panang beef you can find in other Thai restaurants, not so tasty, but the avocados in it is a BIGPLUS.) Definitely worth a 4 star rating.

We had dinner there on Friday evening. We had the beef salad and the crispy duck. The beef was tough. The waitress is attentive. I’d like to go back with friends and try more dishes

AGALIGO seems to be about the most un-Thai name you can imagine — it’s actually a Pali word — but they do make good Thai food. They only recently opened, and I stopped by as soon as I saw the«Grand Opening» sign. I had a cashew chicken, which was quite good — it’s not like the Chinese version of the dish, but is rather much more saucey and tomato-ey. I’ll have to come back…
