We arrived at D&B’s tonight and got told 60 minutes before we would seated to eat. After 80 minutes I went up to the hostess to see what happen. They told me they paged me(later someone in our party found out they paged me at 5pm only 30 minutes after we arrived), but it never went off as I had the beeper on the game I was playing(coin pusher) so I was there for like an hour. Instead of offering us the next available table they blamed me for leaving D&B(actually I spent $ 80 in 80 minutes for my party). Then they told me I could wait another 90 minutes for a table. I can say, WEWILLNEVERGOTOANOTHER D&B

Had the makers mark burger and it was awesome. This was the second time I had been to this location. Wasn’t super happy with my first visit when I had ordered he cheesesteak as my meal however the burger is the way to go. Also you have to try the green apple over under shot. Best part was that you could keep your shot glass as a souvenir.

Prompt seating. Five wait staff hung around a register about twenty feet from us, while we sat, closed menus, waiting to order. It took better than 5 mins to give a drink order as one of three or four tables with a better than 1:1 staff to customer ratio. Really? Not ideal. Server was younger girl. She was polite and did her job well but came across as hesitant and nervous. We had mozzarella sticks to start, 8 of them with marinara. Nothing good or bad. Clearly frozen and fried, they were no better or worse than any others. I had two glasses of cab sauv, served in a slightly greasy stemless wine glass in an average pour size. He had a frozen strawberry banana something or other. Meals were ribs and wings with fries for him and a burger for me. The food was hot. His was served in a cast iron skillet, but not a cooked in skillet, just a serving skillet. Which is enormous, heavy and clunky to serve and handle. So, you put hot food in a cool skillet and then… serve it? Oh, ok. Doesn’t make sense but how… unique. My burger was well seasoned and seemed decent, however, there were a few bites where it tasted of an unclean grill top rather than a good burger. That is gross. Just gag. Server took my husband’s dish and offered him a dessert menu while I was halfway through my meal. I mentioned that I’d like to finish my dinner before we ordered dessert. It was awkward. Just awkward. The games are a bit of fun, although rather spendy. About $ 110 for an app, two meals(one was a burger), one fancyish drink, two glasses of house wine and a $ 20 game card with tip. It kept us busy for a while. Also, I’ve been to many D & B and this is the only one that fails in the isolation test. Normally, the layout is great, so the dining area and the game area are connected and flowing, but the noise levels are appropriate to the area. You can have a decently peaceful meal with a background bustle of the game room without overload. This location seems terrible in that respect; you can’t hear your partner while eating OR playing. I expect better from this place.

First time here. Food was ok after we got it seems like it took forever and the place was empty at lunch time. Waitress was great.

3rd time here and the food has gone downhill. Not sure if there is new management. They definately buck the trend on big portion size here. Not too many takeout boxes going out the door. The fried calamari seriously lacked calamari. Entrees were lukewarm, and it wasn’t like it was crowded. My advice is to skip dinner and go right to the games, if you must.

I went here yesterday as part of my bachelor party. This is my third time going here. The food is good and we enjoyed one of the beer towers. We had some of the over under shots where you get to keep the shot glass. Our food was delicious and our waiter Sebastian was very nice. I got a burger that had buffalo wings on it with blue cheese sauce and bleu cheese crumbles it came with a side of tater tots. I like wings and I like burgers and I love blue cheese it was simply amazing. After our meal we played some games. The game seems to be in very good repair which can sometimes be rare. This selection was diverse, one of my favorites was the Star Wars battle pod. The four of us had lots of fun playing on the link systems like basketball. After we were done playing games for 3 hours we pulled together our tickets and I got a pint glass souvenir and a shot glass. We even had extra tickets and we got something for my friends son. Management was on the floor making sure everything went smoothly. We had a blast. I will definitely go back again.

Went here last night and ordered a burger medium rare. What I got was an abbomination, it was cooked brown and tan. I looked at the burger and it was apparent to me they had used frozen patties and very low quality ones at that. I sent it back and the waitstaff were nice I figured maybe it was a mistake he sent out another one. Not surprisingly I was disappointed. The waiter did his job well but the food was not worth nearly what they charge. I would get better quality from mccdobalds and about 1⁄3 of the price. The drinks there are always nice though and the salads and non meat items are generally OK. Dave & busters needs to figure out what is going on in the kitchen because it is not acceptable.

Two stars for the gaming part. My children had a blast. Food is terrible and overpriced. If you are coming there for the sake of kids playing — eat elsewhere. Drinks are ok and atmosphere is good.

I love the food here. I ordered«a mountain of nachos» the first time I was here. It was certainly a mountain of nachos, a delicious one. The quantity was pretty good and I usually come here for watching games. They have huge TVs and speaker boxes if you need them. The selection of cocktails are huge. If only they had more beers. The service is pretty good, waiters/waitresses are friendly and food is served quick. I don;t go play on the arcades as I get too addicted to it. It’s fun though.

Back to back bad visits. The service has been consistantly slow and at least a part of each meal has been cold, wrong or both. Management response has been a mixed bag with the first manager handling the situation perfectly. The mamager on the second visit said he would check on the issues and then disappeared never to return. In an area as densely populated with resturants as this one, two strikes and you’re out.

Maybe the snow and Sunday night helped our experience. We were seated right away, literally only waited for the people in front of us to corral their gaggle of little kids. Took our 14 year old and she was thrilled. The food was good. We started with the Triple Play which was good, enough for the three of us. I had ribs and wings with french fries. Ribs fall off the bone, good taste. Wings spicy but the french fries left me wanting something else. Hubs had Steak and Shrimp with lobster Alfredo. This had an amazing taste, I wish it came with a garlic bread or something. But it was a good portion and great taste. The kid had Parm Garlic Chicken Caesar salad. She proclaimed it among the best. Dessert was a decadent fondue platter. We shared it, but I wish there was more chocolate dip. Service was impressive we had three sodas and 2 mixed drinks. The mixed drinks were walk the plank and a Island Coconut Coronarita. Not strong but tasty. Our sodas never got below half full without a refill. Waiter was friendly and make the experience better. Our waiter was very good! Hope we have him next time. But we did have to overhear another waiter tell the table behind us how he calls his very young son«Magic Mike» and the moves the kid has. Turnoff. No waiting for games and we played very well. Checkout for the prize spot was quick. I took a star off because the ladies bathroom was disgusting! Hand prints in the dust on the walls, splashes of God knows what on the walls, 3 stalls that had not flushed(and these are auto flush toilets), it reeked like a bus stop bathroom, the counters were covered in water and soap puddles, and the paper towel dispenser handed out a coaster size napkin to dry your hands. It was not a busy night, a 5 minutes swish and swipe would have helped.

Have been here on multiple occasions and I’d have to say that last night was the last time. The food is decent and priced just about normal. I have yet to get a quality waiter/waitress. My waiter last night made me wait 17 minutes for a refill on a soda which was extremely long especially because he only had 2 tables. I was very disappointed and will most likely not return in the future!

Called ahead same day to ask if a specific hockey game was available to view. Drove all the way there to rudely be told it was not available. Wasted a lot of our time trying to catch a game. Avoid if you want to watch s specific game and don’t believe what you’re told in the phone

Once again Dave and busters was amazing!!! The food is awesome at a reasonable price and service was the best! We met our friends here again for our holiday get together and the kids had a blast! We did have one issue with food in that two of our burgers were not medium as ordered! Waiter was apologetic and we told him don’t worry and we decided to keep them so we could all eat together. Manager came right over and apologized even though we were not angry and gave us three free meals! GREAT business!!! My salad(see pic) was the largest salad I have ever ordered out and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place for the food and atmosphere!!!

Not worth the wait on a Saturday night. We were told that the wait would be an hour. 90 minutes later we were still waiting. I dislike that their buzzers only work within Dave and Busters. The meal was good and service was nice as well.

I havent tried food here, my only intention was to play a lot of games and use the half price wednesday offer they have on all games. We went there on a dry wednesday afternoon and were able to play all the games we wanted to without waiting or standing behind someone . But by 4 in the evening it was jam packed. Any who it was fun and we accumulated alot of points by the end, and were very happy. Definitely would return

Fried American food and brain-frying video games. Dave and Buster’s is not quite a grown-up Chuck E. Cheese. It’s as if you took Chuck, fed him an hallucinogenic mushroom, licked his little mouse paws, shoved them into an electrical socket, dropped him in a vat of TGIFriday’s fry grease, handed him a beer, and plopped him into the dystopian world of Back to the Future II where Biff runs Pottersville. The games and loud, night club wannabe environment rule it out for toddlers but older kids will be enthralled, if you can stand it. I remain bemused at the number of dating 20-something child-free types that patronize the place; it seems like an odd place for a rendezvous, and I am hard pressed to think of an analog during my dating days, but then again that was back in the era of steam-powered video games and before smoothies had Red Bull in them(on this latter note I am quite in earnest, do NOT buy one for your child). In any event the place skews younger than I am, and clearly I am a fossil in being appalled by the younger parents here who’d brought infants and toddlers past not just a sensible bedtime for hem, but for me. The times they are a changin’. D&B’s as ever seems to have problems at this location keeping its kitchen tickets straight, and our seating took forever, but the food is just as tasty or tastier than the similar standard upscaled fried — and — grilled fare at your typical Ruby Tuesdays. Seriously, D&B’s oddly seems to have good quality control here; the last time I went to one was for a bachelor party a decade ago and the food was well above average for the loud sportsy pseudo adultish playpen bar restaurant genre. You will, however, end up spending twice what you will spend at a Chuck E Cheese for the same amount of bemusement, however ephemeral, for the kids, quality of food notwithstanding. D&B has gone full digital with cards and credits instead of tokens and tickets(the machines still spew tickets, but they’re meaningless — they keep track of tickets you’ve earned on your card, which makes the tickets for trinkets non-transferable. This makes the very bad deal of essentially gambling for plastic crap even more inscrutable; buy 100 D&B’s credits for 25 dollars, for example, and then swipe the card on a machine, and for some reason the machine charges in partial units — from 3.2 to 6.8(typical) to 9.3 units per game. Playing the easiest games the kids managed to earn enough ticket/credits for a superball and a beanbag worth about 20 cents retail, an even worse return, if that had seemed possible, than Charles Frommage’s carnival-highway robbery. As ever, it’s like a little school for gamblers. Next stop, the casino. The food is basically marked up about 25% over similar entrees from the 99/Ruby Tuesday’s/Applebees menus, which is a relative bargain compared to the games cost. Wait staff were very friendly; bar staff, indifferent — I watched one, two, three, four, five, six, seven staff congregate and gossip in the middle of the ginormous bar for several minutes on a not very busy night before one of them deigned come over. The game management staff seemed a bit surly in explaining things to us, as if we showed up at a trendy nightclub in the city without our names on The List. This is a special-rewards-only destination as far as I’m concerned, and because of the cost I sort of wish I’d never thought to bring them here, but the kids are enthralled with it for the sheer size and noise level. So it is a good thing there’s a full bar, even if it’s hard to get a drink, unlike Chuck E Cheese they don’t have a limit on the number of servings, all the better to benumb oneself.(Thanks as ever for my designated driver; an excellent reason to stay married.) In the meantime, I’m sure the next generation which engages in its mating rituals here and then brings its progeny back to the scene of the crime finds me hopelessly quaint and will continue to shower D&B’s with money. Which spells the end for Chuck, because they are the future.

In one word: Moneypit. I knew that going in, but still. There are some things they could make more reasonable, like their beer prices:($ 6.47 — yup, nice odd change amount) per basic beer? OOOk. My mac and cheese was ~$ 12⁄13 dollars; I’ve had better elsewhere for less. My boyfriend’s calamari was apparently delicious, but the portion was small. Our waitress was also not very good. The games are fun enough. Expensive, but fun if that’s what you’re looking for. I would go again to play some games with a group, but I wouldn’t eat there again and I wouldn’t be too keen to buy drinks, either.

Our 6 year old LOVES Dave & Busters. It definitely appeals to kids. The food is typical chain fare and is priced about the same as other chains. The games are expensive though. I purchased $ 25 worth of credits, and burned through them in about half an hour, this with 1 kid. If you’ve got two or three kids you can imagine how pricey it can get. Between dinner and games a family can easily drop well over $ 100 per visit.

Dave & Buster’s opened at Crossgates Mall(Western Ave side on the lower level) over this past weekend. D&B’s is a fun place to go for food, drinks, watching sports, and plenty of interactive games to play. I’ve been to several other D&B locations around the country before this location opened. My favorite D&B’s location is at Franklin Mills in Philadelphia. This place is like«Chuck E. Cheese» for grownups, a similar concept to Wolf’s 1 – 11, Jillian’s, and Game Works. The atmosphere here is on the loud side. The bar area in the center is surrounded by ample flatscreen TVs, a great place to catch the game while enjoying beers and cocktails and pub style fare. There’s high chair seating around the center bar counter surrounded by booths. The general dining area(dim lighting) has booth and table seating. The good sized arcade area has plenty of games to choose from, such as Pac Man Battle Royale, Press Your Luck, Skeeball, and much more. Some games you can win coupons to redeem for various prizes such as stuffed dolls(large & small), toys, apparel, slow cookers, balls, and candy. On Wednesdays, all games are half price to play! There were no pool tables to be found at this D&B’s. The food offerings consist of American pub style fare include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, chicken, pasta dishes, fried foods, appetizers, and desserts. The prices here are moderate. I stopped at the new D&B’s for a late dinner break after driving three hours from NH(on a long road trip). There were staff checking IDs at the exterior entrance. Must be 18 or older to enter, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 or older, maximum 6 minors per adult. All people under 18 must leave the place by 11PM. I believe IDs are also checked at the indoor mall entrance(I saw the staff checking IDs during the day(all times) at the Syracuse(Destiny USA) location). Upon arriving, I was promptly seated by the hostess, standing beyond the customer service counter in the front area. I started out with a Diet Coke($ 2.79) and decided to go with the Eat, Play Win Combo for $ 16.99, in which you choose from one of 8 select entrees and get a $ 10 Power Card with 100 tickets. For my entrée, the Chicken & Shrimp Rockefeller(normal price $ 13.79) served with mashed potatoes and broccoli was very rich to eat, had a unique smell, and pretty decent tasting overall. The grilled chicken was very tender and the small shrimp were soft. The chunky mashed potatoes were quite good, with a soft and dense. texture. Since the food was very filling, so I passed on the offer for dessert. The dinner check total for dinner entrée, $ 10 Power Card, and Diet Coke was $ 21.11 with tax and before tip. The net cost for the $ 10 Power Card was only $ 3.20 with entrée purchase, a pretty good deal! The service here was good. I was offered and given free soda refills. My entrée arrived to my table in about 15 minutes after ordering. I also took advantage of the free wifi access(with password) while I waited for my food. After dinner, I played a few games with the $ 10 Power Card(48 chips) including a couple games of Skeeball(2.6 chips per game). I will be sure to redeem the rest of my Power Card on a Wednesday, so I can take advantage of the half price games.
