Walked over from our hotel where we were waiting for motorcycle repairs. Did not have big expectations it was just a Denny’s after all. Had diner in the lounge and was pleasantly surprised. Food and service were great and it had a grown up atmosphere. Will stop in again if back in town.

Service was great!. Tomatoes with a tinge of freezer burn, avocados that tasted like onions, a bun toasted to the savory taste of dirty grill and a flavorless smooshy-gooshy veggie burger. Not even the cheese could rescue this. The fries were good.

I ordered the«thing burger», I was not impressed at all it was a little dry and $ 10.00. My friend got the club sandwich, toast was like a brick, and my brother got the grand slam and they burnt the break when they grilled it, it was straight black. I asked for a water and it took about 15 min, they didn’t even refill it once. Let’s just say $ 0 for tip.

The onion rings were so hot they literally scaled me and now I have a scar. Never eat here unless you would like a life long scar. The most unbelievable part was that our server never offered any kind of reparations for mutilating me.

6 employees standing around… We finally just seated ourselves. Food was not good. Service was not great either then to top it off you have to practically beg someone to take your money because they seem to busy talking to do that too.

Coming into the restaurant, we weren’t greeted by our waitress but rather asked, «two?» asked for our drink order before reaching the table. The open kitchen revealed an unpleasant manager, complaining about employees’ weak performance and how customers shouldn’t expect a five star experience. Food took for-EVER to come out and was warm at best. My eggs in a basket were burned, and our requested French toast toppings, which we were charged for, did not come. Not a pleasant experience, and as a former waitress I wouldn’t ever put this neglect on a table.

Yeah they might be slow but they cook to perfection. I’ve only had great experiences when I’ve gone. I highly recommend the peanut butter cup pancakes or a milkshake! It’s a great place to go with friends or to have a deep conversation!

Really? Over-priced. Friendly staff and I think they’d like to serve better food. They really need to look at their menu/cooks. They could do a better job.

My last experience at Denny’s was not the best. The food there is okay. Nothing too great but for a Denny’s my expectations aren’t too high. As for the last time I visited, it was a very busy saturday at lunch time, so I understand the business and stress during the lunch hour. But, we had to wait so long even to get our waters. We had 4 different servers including a manager who asked us if someone was getting our drinks and we had told him we thought so a while ago and it still took a couple more waitresses after him to actually go run directly and grab us our drinks. Other than that I haven’t had too bad of an experience. Just would like the service to be more friendly and on top of it. It has seemed to dwindle of the years. But a lot of my friends still love to go here. I just don’t get too hyped up over it.

For a variety of foods at any time of day, Denny’s is almost always the go to spot for my friends and I. While lately the service has been a little less than friendly, the food has yet to change. Denny’s has a huge menu with everything from breakfast to burritos, but I tend to always gravitate toward their Fried Cheese Melt. The Fried Cheese Melt is a basic grilled cheese with mozzarella sticks stuffed into it and a side of fries as well. All of the food in the Fried Cheese Melt meal comes at an extremely low price of $ 4. The menu is full of great foods and drinks just like this, and very few of them break the price of $ 10 per person. When you want to eat for cheap, or just want a good meal, Denny’s is a great place to go. Unless you hit them on an off night, I can’t recommend Denny’s enough to anyone near one. They may not be few in numbers, but obviously there’s a reason for that.

For a Denny’s this place is great. I have always gotten excellent service and my food fast. It may help that I always tip generously cause these guys work hard, and I always order the 6.99 breakfast special, and I know it is worth more than that. Sorry about that run-on sentence. Yes, it is greasy diner food and I don’t expect excellent food, but for what it is, it is great. I think it is one of the best I have been too. Don’t expect fine dining here, it’s a Denny’s.

Good food at good prices. Great people working here at 5:30AM on Sunday mornings. And to MB who took his family to Denny’s on Mother’s Day… you’re missing the point of Denny’s.

Well, I have to put a disclaimer on here — its DENNYS. I don’t go expecting gourmet. Just hot, fast, reasonably priced food, with no-nonsense service. I went tonight for the first time in ages for dinner. I was alone, which is no big deal to me. I actually like eating alone. My waitress, Kim(I think that was her name), was very friendly, and very fast. She gave me plenty of time to decide on what I wanted to eat, and was quick about refilling my Coke. I chose the Spicy Cowboy Chop Steak.(Don’t look at the nutritional info, I may as well have eaten a Whopper). I chose the sides of the ‘Smoked Cheddar Mashed Potatoes’ and the ‘Sauted Spinach’. The potatoes: Small serving with a dejected looking sprinkle of grated cheese. Taste? Fake potatoes, good cheese. Not bad, not awesome. Spinach: Good-sized serving(about 1cp of leaves raw) of spinach, slightly wilted from being sauted. Needed salt, but otherwise good. I could have eaten much more. Yum. Chop Steak: Palm sized piece of «hamburger steak» with pepper jack cheese melted on it. Sauted onions and red peppers and deep fried onion straws on top. A little greasy, but very tasty. Pleasantly surprised. Thinking about duplicating it at home, using less heart-attack-inducing ingredients. Note: Not spicy whatsoever. Total bill: 8.00. The waitress or the manager(not sure who it was) comped my soda. I thought it was a mistake and tried to pay for it, but they declined. For my money, an excellent experience — tasty dinner, good service, clean restaurant. Another note: Breakfast for 2.00?! Seriously — you can get an egg and a biscuit and gravy for breakfast there for 2.00. Blows my mind — that is cheaper than McDonalds.

This is my second visit to this particular Dennys. It’s great for stopping in for a bite to eat while traveling up or down I-5. I was sat down right away, got my food within 10 minutes, food was hot and tasty, coffee cup and water glass never went empty, waitress was very kind, and service was great. I’ll stop back again on my next I-5 travels.
