I got a Living Social deal for this massage, and was able to get an appointment the very next day. What a rare treat! The process was really easy: I sent an email and received a response within an hour or so. I got a massage from Ade, and was extremely pleased with it. I have some injuries and since he has a specialty in sports massage, he immediately understood the physiology and the issues. He spent a lot of time working on the affected areas, was very sensitive to possible pain issues. He was very careful not to push too hard on the sensitive muscles and fascia, so I could relax. The room was very calm and quiet, and even though it was a cold rainy day the room was perfectly warm. After the massage Ade gave me a wonderful hot cup of ginger honey tea, and advised me to take a hot bath later on to help the muscles relax further. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Decided late one night to get a massage the next day. Found this place on Living Social. Ade(one of the founders) was a good communicator and confirmed a time for the massage. He was excellent! The full body massage was as good as it gets with Ade asking for feedback on the pressure. Very worth it and felt like a new person afterwards. Would definitely return.

I found a deal on Groupon and was really looking forward to this massage after the great reviews on Unilocal.I tried emailing Corrine and it would take her more than a week at times to respond back. Most of the emails were simple responses like«I can’t do that date» and at one point she told me the day of that she couldn’t do the time I requested. Why can’t you just list the times you CAN do and offer me some options? If you don’t have time for email communication, then set up one of those scheduling software to take care of it for you! After a month of back and forth, I finally just gave up and asked Groupon for a refund. I’m not sure what’s so difficult with communicating with potential clients but if she was trying not to honor the Groupon, well, she definitely succeeded. Don’t take your business on Groupon if you don’t plan on honoring it. Thank goodness Groupon’s customer service is not only responsive but willing to give out a refund for situations like this.

I had a wonderful massage by Adelaido and a painless scheduling experience. The place is small but very comfortable and there’s plenty of parking nearby. I can highly recommend them!

I found this place on Living Social. I’ve bought a bunch of massages on Living Social in the past, and(when you do your research beforehand) I think it’s a great way to discover new places. I was excited to get a massage here, especially because the website said this masseuse’s special is getting out tough knots. Well, unfortunately, I’ll never find out, because it’s been way too big a hassle to book my appointment. I called the number listed the day after I bought my massage. The message I received said to email for an appointment, so I did. I called again when I didn’t hear back for 4 days. There was no answer, but I received a text immediately after I hung up asking me to either text or email. We were texting back and forth for a few minutes. If you’re interested, this is exactly what was said: — I was told I could come in that day any time after 12:30. — I asked if I could come in at 5:30. — I was told no, I could only come in before 4:30. — I said I could come in any day during the week(this week or next) after 5:30 or any time on Saturdays. — I was told they are pretty booked up and she’d have to get back to me. That was the last I’ve heard, and I don’t intend to waste any more of my time trying to book an appointment.(In fact, I’ve asked Living Social for a refund.) I’m sure the massages are great, and I guess the staff is overwhelmed, but I personally don’t have the patience to harass a company for my business. There are plenty of other options out there. Give it a shot if you’re willing to hound them for a booking, but if you’re time poor, don’t bother.

Corinne might very well be a great masseuse but she cannot run a business and does not demonstrate any awareness of how to interact with clients. I was unable to schedule a massage after over two weeks of trying to communicate with her. She will not talk on the phone, she responds to texts and emails sporadically. What a waste of time. I finally had to contact Groupon for a refund. She needs to have a scheduler &/or learn how to interact with people. Her treatment was rude, insulting, non-responsive. I think she is overwhelmed from Groupon purchasers. Nonetheless, she was still rude. (Other people had the same problem — see her reviews on her San Francisco location.)

I keep forgetting to leave reviews! Corinne is amazing and will take care of your skins and help you develop a skin care plan, this is a step above you’re regular skin care place, I highly suggest it for people who need a régime. Very affordable price!

I’ve had countless massages for many years and after trying this place… Corinne is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I’ve been to massages where I would always have to either direct or say ‘pressure is too light or too strong’ but with Corinne, she will just KNOW. It’s amazing what she can do. I truly believe she has a gift as a real healer. I typically love a combination of swedish/relaxing type massage with a mix of deep tissue /pressure. She will tailor throughout each body part and would know when to apply where it is needed. She will be my go to now for sure. I will recommend her to all my friends and family.

Their opening $ 50 for $ 100 deal was well worth it! For the small space that they have, they really make you forget where you are. I’m the type who doesn’t mind going all out for a great spa experience, but every now and then I just wish there were massage therapists who were affordable, but gave quality service. Shalomtouch is that place, guys! Check them out when you get a chance. You won’t regret it :)
