For a casual, pub type of dining experience, Swiftys is more than adequate. We sat out on the back patio, which was lovely on a cool night. I do wish the draft beer list was a little more diverse(it seemed like nearly a quarter of it was various Sam Adams varieties). We ordered the hot wings to start off. They were on the drier side, and I typically prefer a really saucy wing, but they were crispy and the flavor had some heat. A burger with Waffle fries was good, although more well done than ordered. We especially enjoyed the waffle fries, which were large and crispy and nicely seasoned. We also tried the crab cake sliders, which were very crispy and fried but had a nice crab flavor. The remoulade sauce was way over applied, so I scraped most of it off, added some lettuce and tomato, and had a much more balanced slider.

we have been to Swifty’s for Happy Hour and for dinner. Happy with both. They have a great seafood platter for dinner that everyone should try.

Ate dinner here last night and was sick by the time I got home. Had the cheeseburger wrap. I’ve never been so sick and will not eat here again.

Nice little place for lunch. Nothing really stood out about it but I liked the feel of it and the service was good. Friendly staff and felt was priced fair for amount of food you get. Had the Tuscan chicken sandwich. Was a frozen piece but they seemed to have put it on the grill which gave it some good flavor. Been there once would go again if passing by but not a time and time again place.

I rarely give these stars because nothing in life is perfect but I must digress: One word. CHEERS THISPLACEIS A JEWEL. Food, awesome… I tried the chicken wings, only place I’ve had wings where you don’t need sauce. No sauce. The seasoning is to die for… Service– five star! No joke, the people that work here are efficient, not one person had to look for a reason to get attention. Staff — pleasant, attentive, friendly, and warm. Energy — ever see Cheers on TV. Boom! When I visit Albany a must place to be, tv’s, service, and good food equals A+… Go–

Ok my first time at any of the Swifty’s & I loved it. The beer selection was good. Had some app & a burger which hit he spot. Definite patio spot to hit. Shady & relaxed.

Just like getting straight A’s in school, its hard to achieve with minimal effort. At Swifty’s, they seem to nail it with what seems like minimal effort and that’s a great thing! The place is steady with incoming guests even on a weekday evening but the servers are on top of their game. There are plenty of booths, tables, high tops, and bar chairs for the single diner or a small group. One recommendation: get the deep fried buffalo burger. I was hesitant(well not really) to order it because it sounded like a heart attack on a plate but whatever the case, it was so good. SO good! I like my steaks medium rare but prefer my burgers to be medium and that is what I got. There was just the right amount of pink inside and my dining companion even questioned our server how they make the burger to maintain its’ temperature with the deep frying. We were told the burger is first cooked to temperature and then quickly fried. The outer buffalo layer sort of speak was perfect and didn’t overwhelm the beefy taste of the burger. Secondly, it was juicy inside and was the same temperature throughout. The chunky bleu cheese dressing was good served on the side so that you can control how much you want to douse it in. Well now that I’ve listened to other Swifty’s fans rave about this deep fried buffalo burger and actually have tried it, there’s no going back. And that’s okay. This burger has raised an additional star from my original review, and this might become my go-to entrée when dining at Swifty’s.

Three solid, I could see frequenting again as a local… nice back porch although we were hit with both cold breeze(took place late sept fyi) tons of tvs for sports coverage. service wasnt the best and my french dip«which the server always has’ was kinda of fatty, which is a turn off. as i said, the place is worth one more shot, id go cheeseburger med rare and see what they can do. oh also, the irish chips are not worth it. old and boring.

We love this place! It’s a big step-up from the former Beff’s for sure. The management and wait-staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. My husband loves the turkey reubens and I like their salads — cobb, pear and walnut to name a couple. Everything is so fresh and made to order. I just wish they offered Local Flavor and/or Groupon coupons from time to time. As seniors on a fixed budget, it would allow us to go even more often.

we were frequent visitors of Beff’s before changing to swiftys and loved the pizza and wings, both dine in and take out. being hopeful we just picked up a pizza and wings 20 minutes ago and it was absolutely awful. the pizza was not even cooked all the way and we ordered the wings extra crispy… they were the most soggy wings I’ve ever had. and it wasn’t even from sauce because there was hardly any on them. They were cooked terribly. we threw it all away. what a waste of food and money.
