Absolutely awful. Don’t let the fancy décor fool you. Food is stale, bland, and mushy and the bathroom smelled like an open sewer. Avoid avoid avoid!

Not a bad place to get a good amount of food for a reasonable price. It’s what I excepted from a Chinese buffet, not bad but not great. The food was hot, the service was good, and when I am looking for a cheap reliable place to eat I will keep this in mind.

A two star rating might seem like a horrendous rating, but let’s put things in perspective. Unless it’s a local Boy Scouts pancake breakfast buffet in an attempt at raising some much needed camping funds, buffets in general just blow! Seriously, think about it, how long have those items been sitting out there under the heat lamps & sneeze guards? Were those items prepared with care & a passion for quality? I hesitate to think so! Generally speaking, I’ve eaten better military MREs than most buffets put out on their lines. In addition, I shudder to think of the kitchen practice at a place like this. Furthermore, look at the clientele that generally goes to a buffet like this. They’re looking for mass quantities, not quality. No, no, I’m not getting personal, as I too fall under the category of one who likes to put on the«Feedbag» from time to time. Regardless, I’m generally never happy after eating at Chinese food buffets. In addition, the food here is about as Chinese as I am! And me no know how to use chopsticks! Well, I can fumble my way through a few items with chopsticks, but I digress. My wife likes these types of places & just utter the word buffet and my daughter is giddy with anticipation. Something about grazing with a reckless abandon does it for her 7-year-old self. And as my wife puts it, «There’s something different for all of us at a buffet.» So I took one for the team and they now owe me! Big time! Regarding this one in particular, though, meh! Not disgustingly nauseating, so that’s saying something isn’t it? We were there on a Thursday night around 7 and hardly a soul to be seen in there, which generally scares me. As if everyone knows something that I don’t. Nevertheless, we gave it a go, and well, I doubt we’ll be back. I will say, though, that I thought their variety was half decent & they had the Mongolian grill option. I was not about to try their sushi, though, sorry, call me a snob!

It pretty much sucked. If you go, stick to the watermelon, cookies and ice cream. And what’s with the chicken feet? Waiter was nice and attentive.

Hands down the worst buffet I’ve ever experienced. Dried out food and some items I couldn’t even identity. Service was good and attentive though.

I’ve eaten here once, for lunch on a weekday. I thought the selection was good, with lots of fish, seafood, chicken, pork, beef and veggie variety. I enjoyed the pan seared(probably just fried) haddock. There was a large salad and dessert bar and the Mongolian grill had a reasonable amount of ingredients but I did not try it. I didn’t have anything that I thought was fantastic but most of what I tried was decent. The price seemed fair for a lunch buffet. The service was ok but my glass did get empty and stay that way for a few minutes. The place seems a bit run down on the outside with graffiti on the walls and the interior looks like it was really nice 10 years ago.

Took a chance and went away from my favorite Chinese buffet, BIGBIG mistake. Selection was sub par at best. Many of the selections were empty or near empty and I came a t what appeared to be a slow time. I won’t be comming back. Not when there is a much better buffet hidden behind olive garden down the road.

We’ve eaten here many times on the weekend and once during the week. We always come back for more! Great sushi. If you go on the weekend they have snow crab legs and wonderful oysters on the half shell! The menu is very varied and delicious. I’ve written an Asian cookbook on Amazon and I like to think I know what great Chinese tastes like. My Wife is Chinese and this is one of her favorites! Nice desert and ice cream selection too. They also offer Senior and Military discounts, just ask.

We come here very often but these past times have been horrible. We drink alot of water so we usually get around 4 or 5 refills per service but this time the server took the whole jar of water just to avoid having to refill more than one time. Another thing i have noticed is that if he knows you might give him a good tip then he treats you very well. me as a college student, i can tip around $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 dollars which is around 15% but i guees its not good enough for us to recieve good service. I DONTTHINK I WILLBECOMINGBACK. ATLEASTNOTWITHTHATSERVER/SERVICE.

Went here for he lunch buffet and honestly you can’t get better for this price. Only 7.99(8.39 with a soda) for adults M-F 11 – 3:30. 3.99 for kids. Its buffet in the middle of Albuquerque so its not the best. I liked the sushi and tempura veggies. The Mongolian Grill was a little sweet IMO. I got the garlic sauce which had a lot of garlic but I think they use the same base no matter what sauce you get. Only 3 options. The oranges were ripe is always a plus with me and you can’t go wrong with their dessert. Their banana cream pie thing had huge chunks of bananas. The coconut cake thing was dry but tasty, the cream puff of great. And the Mocha Mousse fell apart easily but omg the best! Also scoopable ice cream! Only like 4 flavors but yum.

We’ve eaten there three times now(including takeout once) and it’s been great each time. They have a great variety of mostly Chinese buffet. Traditional items like beef & broccoli, chicken with mushroom, dim sum, chow mein, egg drop soup, fried rice as well as clams, crawfish, steamed fish(it was a bit fishy), imitation crab & cheese, fried dumplings, French fries, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, tofu, salads & sushi. Sushi bar isn’t much of a sushi but a small sample of rice balls. There’s only one real sushi with some kind of fish & one shrimp, but the rest are not«real» sushi… I LOOOOVED the octopus(cold dish) but didn’t see it tonight. There are several ice cream varieties and a few dessert items like chocolate mousse, banana pudding, tapioca, jello, and fresh fruits. The staff were all pretty friendly and the dining room is huge. Great for casual family outing. The price isn’t bad either at less than$ 30 for two adults with fountain drinks. I’ I’m a fan I’m stuffed(again)…

Service was very friendly and our drinks were kept full but the food was disappointing. The salads seemed fresh(selection included items like iceberg lettuce and cucumbers), the fish soaking in liquid was definitely past its prime, the cooked foods were soggy and the flavors were very blah with the exception of the green beans(w/garlic) which were good. There was a mongolian bbq which we didn’t notice since the cook wasn’t present(looking back would have probably been the best choice there). The desert selection included many types of ice cream(which on our visit was similar to what Cruz K. described), a chemically tasting banana pudding(must have been the pudding they used because there were real bananas in it), cookies(almond & palmier), and a few other items that looked like they had been sitting a while. There is a very large koi pond inside the entrance that kids enjoyed.

Im kinda on the fence with this review. Ive come here and one time it was good, the next a total mess. So your taking a total chance here. Wish this place would step up and maybe get there shit together because I love a good buffet. But like other places in this town, time will only tell. The service was never bad. I think that keeping the buffet always full and quality of prep for good food needs to be looked at and a good manager could do that. Hope they fix it.

Among the number of quality oriental restaurants in Albuquerque, this one has to be one of the best if not the best restaurants when it comes to buffets. It has a rather large selection of traditional Chinese food, but what makes it stand out is the more exotic choices on the buffet. Octopus, crayfish, soft shell crab, tempura vegetables, among many others. Additionally a sushi bar and a grilling station where can request raw ingredients to be made into a meal in front of you. I recommend stopping here if your in Albuquerque.

We were all very happy with the food, the décor, the service, and it was sparkling clean. I have lived in ABQ since July and my kids love Chinese buffets. We tried Hong Kong but it is waaaay too far from Tramway. Evergreen Buffet closed in Jan 2012(closest to us) and Lin’s is very beautiful but more than $ 10 per person and with 4 of us, that’s over $ 50 to eat with drinks. So we tried AA Buffet for the first time tonight. The sign on the corner of Juan Tabo and Lomas looks kinda seedy but the inside of the place is VERYNICE. Lots of etched glass, beautiful colored panels backlit in the ceiling with koi and asian ladies etc. Chairs are all very sturdy and well made(unlike Lins). Food is fresh, and tasty, and the variety was much more than i was expecting. They have the typical entrees, and a mongolian grill with the raw ingredients you choose, and a sushi counter. Also salads and desserts, including four flavors of premium handscooped ice cream. I liked everything I tried. There were no weird flavors. It was almost deserted on a thursday night at 8pm which is a shame. It cost $ 9.50 on weeknights, and Fri/Sat/Sun are only $ 9.99. VERY affordable. I recommend this place to anybody that likes Chinese Buffet.(The only critique I could make would be to have more variety of steamed/healthy cooked vegetables).
