They scratched one of my rims, lost the chrome caps to two tires and kept pressuring me to purchase tires other than the ones I wanted.

Traveling from California to Pennsylvania, got stuck in a snow storm in Albuquerque and realized I needed new tires! Went in, got tires, was out in an hour and back on the road. All the guys here were so nice and helpful(and handsome)!!!

I went in today for a tire repair; a nail causing a slow leak. The guy looked at all my tires, got all the info and I waited for the repair. I waited around nervously expecting to be told I need new tires, or I needed this or that. I’m very leery of mechanics trying to sell you products/services you don’t need or scare tactics. Surprisingly I left with free and very good service. After reading the previous review on here just now I am a little cautious, but for now am very happy with the service. If all works out Discount Tire has a new forever customer.

Be careful… certain services are given away for«free» for setting up the tires to require replacement in a shorter time than required. I had recent personal experience that was extremely disappointing. Went in for a simple patch(slow leak from a nail), it was patched for«free» even though I had never bought my tires from this store before. I insisted that couldn’t be right and had always paid a nominal $ 15 – 20 for a patch. They said I needed new tires soon, and I had planned for that later in the summer. I walked out of there thinking«what great customer service.» Unfortunately, my tire blew and was shredded later that day, nearly causing an accident and requiring all 4 tires to be replaced now rather than later… I suspect the«free» patch was intended to be made up with the $ 600 they’d get from me later that day. I wonder if it was all a setup…
