The food selection was good. All food seemed to be fresh and was kept filled. The staff was very attentive and nice.
Restrooms needed some attention but, it was a very busy day.
We’ll be back and try again.

I enjoyed my lunch buffet today at Hong Kong. Everything I sampled was fresh and was flavorful. The price was reasonable and the restaurant was very clean. Lastly, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!

It’s a lot of food selections for $ 11, the mushroom chicken, jalapeño chicken, spare ribs and the steak bar are pretty decent. Make sure your table isn’t under a vent or you will get water dropped on you or in your food, that’s gross. 3 ppl $ 40 I’d expect a bit better quality. But it will fill you and it’s not bad.

Ahhhh, the Hong Kong Buffet… how we love it. Sadly, we are going to have to give it up because we finally had to admit that it’s not normal to leave a restaurant and race home to get to the bathroom. Maybe it’s us… maybe we’re old… but we go there every week and it never fails that we quickly «pay» for it.
What we will miss: The grill, the sushi, the crab rangoon, the soups
What we will not miss: The hit-​or-​miss service, the families with 15 kids who are all behaving horribly, the crowded parking lot, the «slop cart» of leftover food and scraped dishes being pushed past our table or sitting along the wall as we walk to our table, and of course the race to the bathroom after a meal at the Hong Kong Buffet!

Just really bad. Sushi immediately made be regret most of my life decisions and the sweet and sour chicken hurt my friends and loved ones. I only gave it two stars instead of one because we didn’t find hair in our food.

So this was my favorite Buffett until my family and I got sick after eating there and found out that the restaurant had numerous food violations on the Internet and was on KOAT 7 Red or Green Report. Will never eat there again.

Yes, the reviews for this place are mixed but I can tell you that my family and I come here quite often and always have a good experience — as good as any other buffet I’ve been to!
My absolute favorite is the grill, fresh, hot stir-​fry and the cook (who by the way always seems to be there) makes it exactly the way I like it! Add some steamed rice to the dish and it’s to die for. We also like the steaks, the sushi, the sweet & sour chicken, the egg rolls and their desserts including they ice cream bar which always has a pretty good line. Keep in mind there are lots of kids so I usually avoid bathrooms and desserts for that reason if I can help it.
The servers are hit and miss but the cashiers, the host and the grill cook always seem to be there and are always very nice — it’s why we continue to come back!

This place just received a red sticker for health code violations. I do not believe it was the first time for that location but to think they may have continued with these violations. You can see the KOAT news report from 5÷11÷2015.

One of the top two most disgusting places to eat in Albuquerque. Wow my whole family was sick after. Greasy place with low quality.

Pretty much what you expect from a Chinese food buffet. The food is tasty and there is a wide selection to choose from.
They offer stake dinners after 4pm with meat cooked to order. Dont expect prime cuts, but if you are craving a stake comparable to the ones you buy at superstores, then this should hit the spot.
Their sushi bar doesnt have much variety, and the chef’s rolling skills are not great, but at least the sushi is fresh and tasty.
Unlike most buffets they have scooped Ice Cream, which is a nice change from the usual soft serve option.
The place is clean, the servers are nice, and the price is fair… It is definitely a nice option as far as buffet food is concerned.

I’m not sure how many health codes were broken, but I would have to say that was the most disgusting place I’ve seen. There was poop on the floors in the restrooms, all the serving spoons at the buffet were covered in food. I seen a server putting back food that had fallen out of the food trays. I will say never again!

This place has never been the top of my list but after seeing the state (and the smell) of the bathrooms, I’m done. The bathrooms, at least the women’s since that is what I can speak for, is disgusting. It’s dirty with filthy trash cans with no lids that haven’t been emptied all day with bloody feminine stuff in it. At least clean your trash cans and put lids on them. The floor was also wet. I don’t know is there is a leaky toilet or what but it was gross. If that is how they keep their bathrooms, what does the kitchen look like?

Ok, but not the best Chinese I’ve ever had. The buffet is kept stocked and the food is good. The décor seems a little shabby and the lighting could be better. The mongolian bbq is decent and the desert bar has a wide selection (as does the normal buffet). The egg rolls are my favorite, yes, they have a mystery meat in them, but it tastes good!

Of all the Chinese Buffets in Albuquerque, Hong Kong is the best. Not only does it have an impressive interior but the food is really tasty. I enjoy the Mongolian BBQ for allowing me to decide what goes into my food. In addition, their preparation of Chinese Food classics are really tasty.
You can always count on Hong Kong for giving you good food for a good price.

Typical buffet food. Lots of choices. Nothing spectacular but edible. They offer Mongolian bbq which is a nice way to control what you eat. They have the typical sweet n sour, teriyaki, General chow, seaseme chicken and sushi. The deserts are bountiful from ice cream to jello. Hot tea is hot and tasty, iced tea is cold. Nice décor.
