I do not think the location listed for this review exists any longer. Originally there was a TJ Cinnamons bakery that turned into Way Out West and then Way Out West closed the retail bakery to focus on biscochitos and mini cinnamon rolls for events(Balloon Fiesta). This review is for the mini cinnamon rolls that are available at the Balloon Fiesta served in a paper cone. These cinnamon rolls are the best that I have ever had anywhere at any price(but are essentially the same as what they served at their retail location). What makes these cinnamon rolls special is the use of very thin dough in making the rolls. This means that even the mini rolls have several layers and can be unrolled to make a pretty long cinnamon«snake». this translates to lots of surface area for cinnamon. Of course, in addition to this outstanding amount of cinnamon flavor, the roll is soft and moist with a perfect texture. The frosting is not greasy, and is a simple sweet, powdered sugar based frosting. They will happily add extra frosting to your cinnamon roll cone for no extra cost. While this may not seem like the ideal setting or way to serve a gourmet cinnamon roll(pouring frosting over a pile of them in a cone), these remain for me the best that I have ever had. It is well worth the cost of admission to the balloon festival to get these even when the events have been canceled.
