Very friendly folks run this small eatery on the north side of the First Plaza Galeria. I’ve had the gyro, falafel, and green chile cheeseburger and been satisfied every time. I think they have the best gyro in town!

I come to Zohra pretty regularly for lunch. Gyro salad for the win! It’s always the same couple behind the counter, and they are very friendly. This spot is directly across from the Convention Center and Civic Plaza, so it can get packed when there are conventions in town. They have about 10 tables inside and outdoor seating available. Great spot for Mediterranean grub!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while working at the convention center. I wasn’t expecting a great gyro in ABQ. My friend and I both ordered the gyro sandwich meal. The gyro was delicious! The meat was fresh, the tzatziki was amazing, and the bread was pillowy soft. The French fries were made to order so they were super yummy. I highly suggest Zohra’s if you’re in the area. It was so good we ate there twice and recommended it to all of our coworkers.

Amazing Green Chile Gyro Sandwich. Ordered the Gryro, asked for green chile and tabsco, no problem. Tool about 5 minutes and my amazing sandwich was ready. This was awesome.

Wonderful Gyros! So yummy. The vegetarian Indian taco was very spicy and delicious. Chicken gyros are also very, very tasty.

I had the falafel, and it was awesome. But what made the place special was the guy who cooked it(I think he may be the owner.) Seriously, he was the nicest guy ever, talked to me, and seriously made the whole meal enjoyable. He cared and you can tell. I’ll eat here again before I leave town just to give him more money. He deserves it.

I got the Falafel Sandwich which was delicious! Fresh ingredients in a nice warm pita. Reasonable prices and very friendly service. After I ordered, I heard the gentleman behind me place an order, but realized he forgot his wallet. He must have been a regular as the owner said no problem, and he could just pay next time. I love this customer service!
