Henry’s Candy & Gifts

My grand-​daughters moved to the Lancaster/​Alden area this past November. One does/​one will attend Alden Primary School. Since I am always up for purchasing chocolates I purchased much from this establishment for an Easter fundraiser.
What can I say but the chocolate was good! Not outstanding but very good. I bought a little bit of everything to the tune of $ 100.00. I’ve tried them all and have suffered an aching stomach as a result of my endeavors. A good thing! I am not a fan of their sponge — orange chocolate in my case — because the sponge middle was blah. Kind of bitter. Perhaps I am negative because Alethea’s is without comparison. In my chocolate confused mind.
A nice place because it deals with schools. Should the opportunity present itself I will buy more. I’m not a fan of Godiva or Ghiraradelli or Dove. Love local manufacturers. I’m hoping that they get their game on for the sponge of the future.

Excellent chocolate very comparable to some of the best in the area. They allow you to try some of their sweets. Very friendly staff and affordable prices.
