Emporium Wine

Henry Foy’s Emporium Wine in downtown Alex City has the best wine, specialty beer, and cigar selection around.
If you’re visiting the Lake Martin area, and are in need of some wine, slip by Emporium Wine. Henry does a great job of having some of the more popular labels, plus a couple that you might like to try after his recommendations. He also keeps lots of good beer on hand that you won’t find in the corner grocery, plus cigars. I don’t smoke them but those who do tell me it’s a good selection.
Henry also has some paintings and framed photography from some local artists. He’s located downtown in a beautiful old refurbished building. Worth a stop, especially if you are coming to the lake from Birmingham. Downtown is not far from 280, so it won’t take you long.
