The bartenders were really nice and the food was okay. My friend and I went here often. After a night of expensive drinking I decided to über home to avoid drinking and driving. Imagine my surprise to see my car was towed the following day. We went inside and came in contact with the RUDEST bartender who slapped down a number and couldn’t even tell us the name of the tow company. She asked us where we were sitting the previous night. Was it be the bar… what difference does that make? Maybe that’s why she was so rude to us cause we weren’t sitting at the bar. Anyways, there are NO signs and no one told us we couldn’t leave our cars there overnight. I will not go back here. There are many other bars in the area. We found another one down the street where everyone, including patrons, are nice. The food is good at that bar and the drinks are not overpriced. If you like to pay too much for drinks and be treated like crap, this is the place for you. Just remember to not leave your car there overnight.

Every time I come in here this place has awesome music and friendly bartenders. The music is always on point. Love this place for a hideaway spot of mine. Close to my home in Arlington Va. The drinks are well priced and so is the food.

First off… It’s an old persons bar. I’m talking minimum age is 55. I stopped in here late night to grab some food. My chicken sandwhich was really good! Service was fast and polite. Watching the older folks get down and karaōke was awesome… Also when karaōke was over, I was really impressed with the amount of Drake and Future they played definitely more for the locals but i liked it

A very interesting hidden gem in a location that is very convenient to where we live I didn’t realize what they have there until I win and given that it is they might hit and you really think that it would be a holes in the wall crappy kind of place but if anything I was proven wrong this place has a full service bar an area for a band and music and dancing pool tables and darts it is a true old school type of bar which serves great wings beers hot dogs and all that other good stuff the menu is good and for the type of location the appetizers and wings were even better we are definitely going back there for our game night and now have an awesome bar very close by which is what we were looking forward to definitely check it out it is worth it 100% you won’t regret it and the prices are extremely extremely decent

This place is a awesome get away. The only thing that i dont like is the bartender Narenga or whatever her name is. She has no customer service and always has a attitude with other people. Their best bartender Bina left and it hasnt been the same. But if you have Eric or Steve then you are good to go.

It’s a good, comfy place for a drink, burger, and to watch a game. Prime rib here is great too. Or chat with friends. This place Definately has its quirky charm and regulars, which makes for fun observation and totally random conversations with people who will be your new buddies. Lots of tvs, jukebox, a few video games, and 3 pool tables. Very diverse and friendly crowd.

I have been here on numerous occasions and I truly am a fan of this establishment. The service is always good. The bartenders are friendly and do their best to make sure you are taken care of when at the bar. The food has either been average, but it’s inexpensive so you really shouldn’t be expecting more. The weekly specials are great: they have something going on almost every day/night of the week. Happy hour is wonderful, but can get crowded sometimes. If you come and have had too much to drink, they do allow you to get an overnight pass and then they will call a shuttle/cab for you. The only cons are this: If you want to go to a really good sports bar, it may not be your best option because the TVs are limited and sometimes the regulars request TV channels that are not very popular to watch. The brunch on Sunday is a miss too. Great concept, but I don’t think it gets enough business for a «buffet» style brunch. The food when I went to brunch was pretty bland and I don’t think it was worth the full amount. All in all, it’s a great place where the patrons/workers have a great attitude and offer a relaxing environment to relax.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. Chicken fajitas were great… great taste, portion, and price. Service was also very good. I will be honest, this is definitely an interesting place… interesting in means of the atmosphere and music. But if you come thirsty and hungry you will do just fine.

Very interesting establishment. Has character, definitely not sterile. I like this place for a low-key night winner and drinks. The hummus is really amazing, and I’ve had a lot of hummus. I wish they had vegetarian entrees, though. That’s why I give it a lower score. But also, keep in mind this 8s not an upscale place. Definitely cool for watching sports and a low-key night out.

Do not go here if you actually want to watch sports. What I am about to tell you is no lie. It is game 6 of the ALCS, there are 7 TVs in sight, NONE have it on. We ask for it, they can’t turn on because someone is watching old tennis(yes the screen literally said earlier today) and dateline. I had to pull up on my cellphone. I include pictures as this probably sounds too ridiculous to be true for a SPORTS bar, BEWARE.

It’s nice to have a bar within walking distance of your home, and when you do, you expect it to be more of a dive. That’s what a neighborhood bar is supposed to be, isn’t it? While it definitely fits into that category via ambiance, there is a little more to Alley Cat than initially meets the eye. First, they have pretty good happy hour specials that extend to 8 pm. They also have an enormous $ 15 brunch buffet that I’m surprised isn’t more successful. It has an omelet/eggs benedict station, a whole table of breakfast foods, a whole table of lunch foods, and a whole table of fruits and desserts. Even though I’m not a «regular,» I always feel welcome.

The food and drinks are better than you would guess from the outside and inside décor. Service great too. Kind of felt like I was in an unofficial cheers episode, which is cool. The bartender actually knew people’s name. One guy even had his own bar stool cushion, which is kept behind the bar just for him.

I’m giving 4 stars because of the customer service their bartenders/servers provide. I honestly think that they need to update this place specially inside, perhaps add more lights and a better DJ. The area where it’s located isn’t bad but it is hidden and it does look sort of sketchy. Overall, if you want to grab a drink after work at a laid back place this is the right place for you.

It’s a divvy place, tucked away from any main roads where it cannot be seen. The whole place needs a major refit, from the walls to the furniture to the floors. That was my first impression. We visited with a gift certificate from . The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable, either. The wings were decent, but it’s hard to screw up an order of Buffalo Wings. The Cheddar Bacon Burger was okay, but I’ve had better at Ted’s Montana Grill. My wife had the Blackened Chicken Wrap, which was pretty bland and nothing special. The service was decent at first, but then we were left waiting a solid 10 minutes before the check was delivered. No pre-bussing. The place wasn’t that busy… just a large-ish party at the bar. We were the only table sat for dinner. All in all, we wouldn’t return. Spend your cash elsewhere.

The Alley Cat is a local bar and tavern that needs a little bit of a good cleaning and updating. The customer service is really good and they had a live band the night that I was there. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and tater tot!!! Yes, I said tater tots and they were so good. Hubs ordered a steak and veggies and we completed our meal with a Rum Runner.

I don’t know why I subjected myself to this type of environment. I believe that it could have been a hundred times better if the«DJ» would have catered to the the crowd. Dayummmmmmmmm, if people aren’t dancing or leave the dance floor when a particular song comes on there’s a problem. And there is definitely a situation if you’re playing something(songs) that’s at least 25+ years old to a crowd that doesn’t seem to appreciate it. The DJ’s playlist had to be from circa 1990; was I even born??? I hate that I wasted makeup, an outfit and gas for such stupid nonsense. I should have guessed by the name«Alley Cat» that I was in for a ride. Ughhhhhh, Sooooooo Irritating!!! Lemme get myself back to the A… Atlanta that is. The actual venue is okay; the downstairs consists of pool & foosball tables, along with a bar area. The upstairs also has a bar area and dance floor, with couches and tables. I probably will NEVER return. I have a low, very low, tolerance for nonsense and inconsistencies that waste my time. I just can’t. Disappointment to the supreme, highest, most paramount level, smdh.

smooth bar in landmark. Tons of tv. pool tables. Great food. Happy Hour every day 11a-8p with $ 4 rail drinks and $ 6 apps. Simple bar with great service. Tons of parking. Most of the crowd are older but I still plan to visit the bar especially for the happy hour drinks and sporting events.

Tonight an Alley Cat saved my life. So tonight I got in late so I didn’t have time to cook dinner so I decided to pull out my handy dandy cellphone and opened Unilocal!I decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad I did! My daughter had a half rack of ribs & I had the blackened chicken pasta. Everything was soooo good! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. Her only complaint was not enough sauce(she’s a heavy saucer). I have NO complaints. The food was great. Very flavorful & the portions are large. Because I used delivery, I don’t have any comments to provide for service or ambiance. But isn’t this more about food! I’ll definitely eat from here again!

I would love to give this wonderful bar 5 stars, but sadly, my fave dish has been altered :-(Terrific staff, comfy bar, not so great crab cakes. Have been coming hear often over the years for their crab cakes, which used to be delicious UNTIL they, for some reason, changed the recipe sometime in the Fall of 2014, I believe. I tasted the change immediately. They added more filler and now their crab cakes are BLAND. Noooooo! Please change back — they used to be delicious!!! Very disappointed, as I live right down the street. Overall, I’ve enjoyed the food, drinks and staff I’ve encountered here and really do hope they take my review to heart and reinstate their original crab cake recipe :-(

The Alley Cat has been around since ’09, located right around the corner of Big Lots(off of Whiting). A neighborhood gathering place where you can wind down with some drinks, play some arcade games(they even had a foosball table!), or watch some sports on TV, they also offer a ‘party room’ upstairs for birthdays/parties/reunions. They have both a general and a lunch menu, offering items such as: crab cake sandwiches, fish & chips, nachos, sliders, salads, jambalaya, blackened prime rib sandwich, pastas, made-to-order pizza, and even daily specials(Mon: Pasta Night and 59c wings, Tues: Trivia Night with ½-priced burgers; Wed: Chicken Fajita Night, Crab Fest, and Martini Madnesst; Thurs: Memphis BBQ Baby Back Rib Night and Karaōke; and Fri: Seafood Night with DJ Aaron; you can also add a peel-and-eat shrimp of various portions to any orders). The hubs and I were passing Landmark, and saw an individual holding a sign for an AYCE Brunch — we decided to go check it out! We went there right when they opened, and we were the first ones there. The place itself is kind of dive-y and dark, and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully they set-up the brunch area. There was a variety of items, such as made-to-order omelets/eggs Benedit, bacon/sausage patties, scrambled eggs, grits, homestyle potatoes, corned beef hash, chicken in mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes & gravy, scalloped apples, a waffle station, bagels/toasts/biscuits, sausage gravy/chipped beef, cheese blintzes, pasta, rice, prime rib carving station, and a dessert station(chocolate fondue, cookies, fresh fruit, donuts, fresh cream, and chocolate torte cake). We both were not fans of the breakfast options, but we did like the fact that there was a perfectly-roasted prime rib(we just wished there was au jus sauce for it, as we had to resort to using the gravy: P I enjoyed the scalloped apples(kind of like cinnamon apples), the fresh fruit(juicy strawberries), and the fresh cream(yum!). There was also some confusion on the pricing of the brunch, as the menu states it’s $ 13.99, a sign out on the block states it’s $ 14.95, and the sign that an employee was holding was $ 14.99(which happened to be the ‘price’) :P Service was friendly, and the staff in general was very sweet and nice. I am not sure if I would come back for their brunch, but I am curious about their daily specials as well as their main menu items. +AYCE Brunch on Sundays — $ 14.99 +Prime Rib included! +friendly staff: D +clean bathrooms! +plenty of parking +right around the corner of Big Lots plaza

Drinks: Easily the best pours and prices in the area. Their happy hour runs from 11:00 — 8:00. Now I would call that a happy day. If only I could drink that much. The bartenders are knowledgeable about what you are ordering; furthermore, they remember what you have ordered in the past and have it at the ready when you walk in. Food: it’s your standard bar fare. Absolutely nothing on their food menu jumps at the palate. The food is reasonably priced so I guess it makes up for the substandard offerings. Although on Sundays they do have the best brunch in the area. 13.99 all you can eat is a deal that can’t be beat. Ambiance: much to be desired. There is so much wasted spaced here and some serious updating needs to be done. Management: my experience with one of the owners almost drove me away from this place. The owner does not interact well with HIS patrons. There is a large dance floor on the second floor and it is never used. Unless of course you want to fork over 500 bucks to utilize the space. I merely suggested that he bring a DJ for that space on Friday and Saturday night. His response was unacceptable. Learn how to treat your customers better and I guarantee that you’ll have more patrons in your establishment. Synopsis: I come here because the bartenders are top notch and the drinks are done right and at the the right price. If the food were better and if the owner was such an obnoxious buffoon this place would get 5 stars.

The service here at Alley Cat is hit or miss, depending on the waitress you get. There are a few waitresses who are great. I enjoy the burger specials on Tuesday nights(with trivia) and the happy hour menu. The food isn’t amazing but enjoyable nonetheless. My friends and I did get food poisoning one time due to their spinach dip.(We figured out it was the dip based on who was/wasn’t sick that evening.) In the restaurant’s defense, the negative experience didn’t deter us from ordering the dip again, and we haven’t had any issues with the food ever since.

This place is pretty rad. I’d be inclined to call it a dive, except everyone in here seems to be a working stiff just looking for a place to grab a beer and a bite. Pros: –Really solid burger for $ 9. and it comes with tots!(½ price on Tuesdays?) –awesome Happy Hour specials one both food and drink. –very nice service staff, even when busy. –Very fair prices on drinks, especially considering the area. Cons: –Finding the place can be a pain. –Service can be a little slow. I’ll be putting this place in the rotation.
