My family and I have been going to Dr. Cohen at Bauers Optical for many many years. Every experience is amazing. Staff is very knowledgable and want what’s best for the customer. They are not in business to get every dollar out of you. They want you to be happy with your purchase and make sure it’s fit best for you. I will be going here forever.
Many people don’t like eye doctors and find them hard to deal with. But I guarantee you will like Dr. Cohen. He is very friendly and will do anything to make sure you are comfortable with your eyes. Thank you Bauers Optical!

I had searched reviews for an optical shop to get glasses for my father. Bauer’s Optical had gotten good reviews. My father is presently in a nursing home and not mobile. It is difficult to transport my father but I was willing to do that as he desperately wanted new glasses. I walked into Bauer’s Optical and described my father’s situation thinking I was going to make an appointment as he already had an RX. I didn’t want my father waiting around if a lot of people were needing help. It is painful for my father to be in his wheel chair. Much to my DELIGHT and surprise, Dr. Ronald Bauer said he would follow me to my father’s nursing home and take sample glasses along and fit my father! This kind of treatment is rare these days. I am forever grateful for the special treatment my father received. Dr. Bauer is even delivering the glasses to my father and assured him he would do follow up care so my father has a good fit.
