Mount Comfort Cemetery

Opening in 1945, Mount Comfort Cemetery is located on the highest land elevation in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Mount Comfort allows for the ground burial of remains and has a mausoleum conveniently located near the cemetery entrance.
Having done the final arrangements for three family members interred at Mount Comfort, I end this review with some advice. Know what your loved one’s final wishes are regarding his/​her final arrangements are and who will be charged with the financial responsibility for making payment for the same. Also, unless the person in question desires to be cremated, then have his/​her ashes scattered or parked in an urn, you will need to have a cemetery plot purchased before any funeral home will prepare remains for burial.
