Mr. Sabatini is a crook. I’ve worn custom tailored suiting for over 30 years. I came to know about Mr. Sabatini’s in 1998, while living in Washington, DC. His self promotion as a fine tailor is alluring, and so I was eager to meet with him and see samples of his work. We spoke extensively about my particular needs and spent a great deal of time choosing the right fabrics, styles, features and other options for the suits and shirts I wanted him to make. I finally commissioned Mr. Sabatini to make a few custom suits, totalling well well more than $ 10,000. He asked for an initial deposit and I wrote him a check for $ 5,000. After he cashed the check, he never performed the work. In fact, he never returned my calls or responded to my correspondence. After considerable effort to seek reimbursement, my deposit money was lost. This pathetic man is a fraud and I’ve been telling people about him ever since we met. I’m sure I wasn’t his only victim.
