My favorite little hole in the wall bar! Great food and good beer selection. Their wings on wing night are delicious. If you’re looking for a place to go for Sunday brunch, this is your spot.

Open today:) Was nice to get out of the house. Came to get a drink and some tasty wings. The trek through the snow was worth it. Very chill and friendly staff.

So it may not look like much from the outside but this place rocks. They got a new chef last year so a few things have changed on the menu(for the better). I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here. I used to go to Lucky’s for my loaded nachos but the nachos at Shooter’s are way better. There is chili, jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese of course. I was there on a Tuesday which is wing night $.60 per wing. There are tons of flavors that you have to order a minimum of 8 of. I got the Shooter house sauce with is a buffalo/bbq mix. It was delicious but if you’re wanting some heat, order something else. One of the features of the night was chicken Parmesan which I ordered to go so I could have lunch/dinner the next day. It was fantastic but if I ordered it again I would ask them to go lighter on the cheese. This place has the right price, an excellent chef and menu, and very personable and happy servers/bartenders. You can go here if you feel like having a nice sit down dinner service or if you just want to cozy up to the bar and watch a game. I highly recommend.

Earlier tonight was our(at least) 3rd time here. We like the atmosphere, service, and food better here than at Ramparts. Ramparts tends to generally draw the older crowd, while although we saw the older crowd here too, we also noticed there were other patrons who were closer to our age. Since it is a neighborhood restaurant, we weren’t told anything like, «There’s an hour long wait» as you’d hear in the more tourist restaurants. My wife always orders the lobster/crab cake entrée($ 14.99) and loves it. I’ve enjoyed a few dishes, including the fish & chips and the meatloaf. Tonight, I had the trout($ 17.99), which was one of the specials, and really liked it as well! We’d come in more often if we lived closer. It’s a bit of a drive during the work week due to traffic. It’s definitely worth the trip when we do come in though!

My fiancée and I live across the street which makes it super convenient to grab dinner or drinks here. I love the fried artichoke hearts and they make pretty good mashed potatoes. I’ve had burgers, Reuben’s, and a French Onion soup. Great choice for when the soon-to-be in-laws come to town. Affordable and great food.

«We’re here for the food,» my Hubs proclaimed after I shot him a look that said, ‘why the hell did you take me to a small, dark sports dive on our first date post-baby.‘ He encouraged me to order the Filet Benedict since he read reviews that they were supposed to be great. I opted for the Strip. Big mistake. Huge! It actually hurt my wrist trying to cut into that slab of rubber. I *never* send a meal back. This was a first. I then chose the Filet Benedict. The burnt English muffin added a flavor I wasn’t accustomed to. I also didn’t enjoy the two flat Cokes that I had hoped would wash the taste away.(Yes, I did tell our server that the first glass was flat.) The highlight of the meal was watching the mouse on the patio. How those two smokers didn’t see him is anyone’s guess.

Unilocal choice even given some negative reviews. In from Florida, good food, great service and great beer selection. Boomer was awesome. Great experience overall, would return.

This place is so cute. My boyfriend and I are excited we found a nice little gem to eat with good food. The service was great waiter was very attentive and offered his opinions on the food when asked. The décor was nice. For dessert I had the pecan pie which was AMAZING. My boyfriend had the jambalaya for his entrée it was really good. All in all a nice treat. We will definitely be returning

Well, this one is a shocker. I was certain that I had reviewed Shooters before;!I mean it is only one of the best neighborhood bars in town. What keeps locals coming back to this one is certainly Shooter’s delicious, hearty food, but it is also the superb service. With bartenders like the legendary Boomer, this place has a Cheers-like atmosphere, and even an out-of-towner will feel immediately at home as soon as they are greeted by Boomer’s warm smile. But as great as the service is, Shooters grub certainly rules the day. All of their dishes will fill up the hungriest of diners, having a down home cooking kind of feel. I love Shooter’s yummy chicken and steak sandwiches, but what rocks my day is the stuffed meatloaf. That’s right, I’ll say it again, stuffed meatloaf, a marriage of perfection and yumminess that will have you asking why mom couldn’t do it this way.

First visit to this place on 09/03/2015 First Impressions: –Tables are clean. Clean place. –Their staff is very attentive and took his time to explaining the dishes to me. –Most of the dishes are made in house. What I ordered was made in house and it shows. –Good parking Food: Was Thursday, I ordered the Dinner Special — BBQ Ribs with 2 sides,(baked beans and slaw). Cost: Full Rack $ 15.99 Half Rack $ 11.99 PJ was my server… he really knows this menu and what are the ingredients in each dish, lucky to have him for advice. BBQ Ribs I order dry rub with the sauce on the side. The taste and smell of the ribs are on point. The sauce PJ recommended was«Angry Orchard BBQ Spicy Apple BBQ»…yes is all one name :). The combination of the tender ribs with this sauce is amazing, they really work together accentuating the meat flavor. The sides, Baked beans… Like no other. They have a little«kick». The ingredients are well balanced. Love it so much I ordered again. Slaw…Was ok not the best but the star are the ribs. Mental note; «Next time… double on the beans». Presentation: Good. Tip: –They also have karaōke. I was sitting inside and wasn’t that loud, didn’t interfered with my dinner experience. After my meal I felt satisfied not overstuffed. Definitely, will come back.

I came in on a Thursday late afternoon. The place looks better in the photos than in person. The interior is dim, small and doesn’t have the best views of the tv’s. The bartender, Shannon, was the best part of the visit. She was awesome, helpful and very nice. The crowd was a bit on the older side and I happened to sit next to an older guy borderline talking dirty to the lady next to him. A bit unpleasant. I ordered some cheese sticks and the Kansas City BBQ wings. The cheese sticks were under cooked and it was doughy in taste and texture. The wings tasted dry and as though they were old and slathered in sauce to cover it. There’s an OK selection of beer and wine. The rest of the staff seemed a bit unfriendly towards some employees openly and that was uncomfortable. Overall the experience was just average all around other. I wanted to check out a new place and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. I would skip this place and find another.

Never made it to this business. Tried calling them ahead to discuss the specials for the happy hour. Some brat named Destiny(oh, the irony!) picked up. I was ridiculed and spoken extremely rudely to. Just because I had a hard time understanding what she was saying to me. I have left concerning review on their website. Nobody bothered to follow up. Me thinks — not my kind of business to patron!

Oh Shooters. This is your typical neighborhood bar scene. People come here to drink and relax after work, not necessarily for a 5 star meal. With that said they do have some decent weekday specials, such as lobster Wednesday’s. Service can be a little slow at the tables. I am writing this review to praise two of the bartenders: Boomer and Jamie(I believe is her name!). A couple of Sunday’s back I sat down at the bar to, well, drink the pain away. Boomer and Jamie both went out of their way to try to make me feel better. They asked me why I was upset and talked to me during their down time. I truly appreciated their efforts, and I admire them for not writing me off as «that person sitting at the bar crying.»

Visited this place August 132015 which happens to be a thursday. They have a special on Thursday for a full rack of ribs for $ 16. I obviously got the ribs. Best way to do it… is get the dry rub and ask for the bbq sauce on the side. The rib is bland by itself otherwise. They give you an up charge for sweet potato fries or mac and cheese. It is not worth it for the sweet potato fries. They give you what looks like one handful. Drinks were ok. Outside of the specials they have… dunno if i would recommend food on the menu. It’s very bar food vibe. Oh yeah chocolate lava cake is like chocolate lava cake anywhere else.

I came here on a Monday night with ~6 others. It was quite busy and we later learned that this was because Monday is ½ price burger night. Burgers were each about $ 10 and came with a handful of fries, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. My check for two people – including two beers, two burgers, tax, and tip, was $ 41. I would say that this place is a solid 3.5 stars, but the excellent service we received(and my appreciation for a good man bun) brings this place up to a 4 for me!

Was recently here for a few drinks and enjoyed the ambiance as its exactly what it looks like, a whole in the wall. I was on a half a price burger night(Monday) which was great as they offer 25 + different juicy burgers to order from and for half price you can’t beat that,(I didn’t know until that night). Enjoyed my drinks and company however I am not giving a full blasting 5 stars because I wasn’t impressed with the bartender who looked tired and wasn’t to thrilled to see a few customers walk thru the door at 10pm, still not sure at what time they close. The parking is ample, they have a few flat TV screens around. It has a large outside patio to enjoy drinks or dinner outside for summer and a lunch menu and specials weekly. I did enjoy the burger(too dark to take a picture of it) and the coziness of the place. Go check it out for yourself, maybe you luck out and get a different bartender then I did to make the experience even better!

The hubs and I ordered a carry-out from Shooter McGee’s, remembering how the food was pretty good on our first dine-in experience. *Just a note: their daily/weekly specials are only good for dining-in, not for carry-outs! I had called in for their Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls, the Meatloaf(supposedly a 60-year old recipe made with Angus ground beef, smoked bacon and roasted tomato sauce, with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli), and the Blackened Chicken Pasta(grilled & sliced blackened chicken, linguini with a Cajun Alfredo sauce, topped with tomatoes and scallions). I was sad that the appetizers were incorrect, as they gave me the Firecracker Shrimp instead of the Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls T____T While I remembered this appetizer being pretty okay the last time, the recently one was a little too sweet, and the fresh seemed not that fresh T____T The meatloaf itself was pretty okay, but I wasn’t a fan of the smoked bacon/roasted tomato sauce — it was just overly sweet, and it reminded me more of a Jack Daniel’s gravy. The mashed potatoes didn’t have any hint of garlic, but the broccoli were ginormous and steamed well. The pasta was okay, but it was more on the bland side — while the sauce was plentiful and generous, it didn’t have any hint of the cajun spices — adding some hot sauce to it made it slightly better. The linguini, however, was cooked al dente, and I appreciated the diced tomatoes and the scallions. I think I would much rather dine-in at the restaurant than do carry-out, and probably stick with their daily/weekly specials. +incorrect carry-out order T___T +overly sweet gravy sauce for the meatloaf T____T +bland Alfredo for the Blackened Chicken Pasta T___T
