Bad photo service. I have use their phone services in the past two weeks, I had my passport picture taken first, and a week later I had my two daughter passport pictures taken as well, both times they were taken by different employees, and in both times the manager had to come to help and they still couldn’t get the passport pictures right. It is ovious that Walgreens don’t give their employees any training. Don’t come here for passport pictures.

I’ve been shopping here for years. No more. They have obviously changed their policies. First of all, I bought a can of flexseal, I thought I could use to fix something, but it would not have worked, so I returned it, It was past 30 days, so they would not credit my credit card(received store credit). Fine. Then, I had a toothbrush I had purchased from the store. I had not looked until I had gotten home, but it was a medium instead of a soft bristle toothbrush. I did not have the receipt, but I just wanted to exchange it. I was told I could do an even exchange. When I returned to the counter, the cashier told me I would have to pay the difference. It was the same item, except a soft bristle rather than medium bristle(shelf price $ 2.49). Since, I did not have the receipt, I was told I had to pay $ 1.87 plus tax for the exchange. I did have about another $ 20 worth of purchases in my basket. Needless to say, I left the store. If I didn’t have the store credit, I would never return. When those fliers come on Saturday, they are headed right to the recycle bin. They will be getting no more of my money. Besides, they do not keep their shelves stocked. I have been told on more than one occasion that they had some yesterday or should be getting some in tomorrow. Doesn’t do me a lot of good, today. Poorly stocked stores and no customer service to speak of. PS: In 2008, I took in 2 films to be processed. The guy in the photo department left the area and both films got stuck in the machine and were ruined. I basically was told tough luck. They were pictures that could not be replaced. I never used the photo department at this store again.

This Walgreens has the best pharmacy on all of Richmond Hwy. By all of Richmond Hwy I mean from Huntington Avenue all the way to Woodbridge. The Pharmacists at this location really do care. They go above and beyond to help my family with their prescription needs. They need Gold Medals for what they do. Aetna needs to wake up and get Walgreens on their preferred Pharmacies list. The rest of the Walgreens staff is just as awesome. There is never a line to check out at the front registers and when I have had questions about where an item is an associate has walked me to the item, on 3 different occasions. They are always well informed on the weekly ad. I have never seen chatty associates talking about how horrible their jobs are — they are always busy working.(I think every establishment I have been in on Richmond Hwy has the chatty associates that complain in front of guest.) This place is retail heaven!

I am a loyal cvs customer due to the coupons and always having one near me over the years. Starting to change to walgreens particularly this location. So much nicer than most of the cvs locations around and the eckerds. Always have what you need, clean, nice pharmacists, and even has the drive-thru. Plenty of discounts and coupons here as well, also without the annoying long paper receipt of cvs.

What more can you ask for in a drugstore other than — a convenient location, wide selection of things, and decent prices? Walgreens succeeds on all fronts.
